My opinion is her entire look isn’t styled properly. The dupata draped around her and tucked into her pants is actually making the pants look lopsided. Her pink hair is clashing with the green in her outfit. And her digital watch doesn’t go with anything. All that being said, her husband showing up in shorts and tank top stinky and sweaty is making everyone else’s look more than OK and acceptable.

.. I can understand 2 people literally getting up from bed and going to mandir in casual clothes to get married.. But this is a planned organised wedding with guests and hundreds of media.. You can't take the time to put on a shirt and trousers? This is shabby with wearing chappals, fitness watch, sweating, wearing ganji, wearing the dhoti pants slanted that looks sloppy

This isn't quirky like i think kiran rao is... This is just weird

Why even make photos circulate on that...

What a kind of statement is that with everybody else being in festive attire...

strange... showing that's just a signature, nothing special, just done 'in passing'?

Is it a custom???

No, not custom. I think most couples/families care way too much about what others will think and will go to lengths to meet that. This couple seems carefree and clearly don't care what anyone thinks and they really shouldn't, as it is their wedding day going to mean the most to them. Apart from close family I doubt anyone will remember their wedding date. They can chose what to wear, how much to spend and whether to go for a run before the wedding or not I get why most are surprised and outraged by the groom showing up the way he did, but him and Ira look so happy and that is what matters the most.

I didn't deck up much for my wedding despite my cousins' insistence. Light gold jewellery instead of heavy dulhan set, no nath, light makeup and no Pallu on head.

Traditional but not overly made up.

And now I regret it 😂 Want pics in that proper Dulhan wala look.

M sure few years down the line Ira is going to feel the same. Shaadi baar baar nahi hoti..unless u r Aamir
