Violence is wrong, absolutely. But is defending/ reacting to violence wrong? Chomu didnt react to invasive physical thing, or even taunts, he'd controlled himself till then, he reacted when Samarth shoved a tissue inside his mouth. That's what you're ignoring. If you did that with the most gentle, non violent person, even they'll hit you.

Exactly. And this Samarth provokes to another level. He and Isha both were relentlessly provoking and mocking Abhishek since 2 days. Chintu even shoved a tissue in his mouth Ye Chintu jaise behave karta hai show pe he had it long coming.

I'm not even talking about just poking. Abhishek is a pro in that, and until the violence he's being his nasty, cheap with Isha, and as usual they're all at fault.
