Rani said Indian cinema needs no improvement and its the best in the world? Oh gosh, it's becuase of people who think like rani that Indian cinema will not progress. Indian cinema is really falling behind when it comes to storytelling, yes it now makes these big action movies which earn big bucks at the box office, but in terms of quality story telling it needs a huge improvement, especially hindi cinema. And it needs variety, all we are seeing now are violent action movies and vfx heavy films.

Rani has such good skill she could talk normally abou tit for once, but nope. Even so her acting peak was in her earlier years with Black. I wished she had the mindset of Rakhee Gulzar who was also in the same space as Rani but always spoke well about the craft and work.

Rani has changed a lot after becoming YRF ki maalkin. She wasn't this obnoxious during her prime years in Bollywood. Now she is like a milder version of Kajol. But Rani still has some grace compared to Kajol.

All he said was that they could learn from Iranian cinema and Rani goes on a long tangent (one of many I might add) about how Indian cinema is the greatest in the world, there is no need for improvement, and how she finds his comments offensive.

What really irked her was that Prithvi said he did not like Karan's films as he felt his movies were mushy. Then when asked if he would ever hire a commercial actress like Rani in one of his films, he said no.

Not to mention her point about diversity is somewhat undercut by her not being even able to properly pronounce one of the Indian regional cinemas.
