Firstly, let's be real—the show wasn't exactly on solid ground before, so moving fast with the wedding track was a necessity. Ain't nobody got time for a 4-5 month wedding saga. Secondly, Abhira and Armaan's wedding happened because of Akshara's death wish on her deathbed. So, doing a lavish wedding in that scenario, dragging it for days?
