This is such a shallow take.

Katrina is the happiest I've seen in years. She looks content and secure, which seems to be a rarity in a shallow place like bollywood. what is the point of marrying someone with status, money and fame when you are miserable? don't underestimate the value of respect. Every woman deserve and loving and loyal husband.

Look at Ash, she married for status and what good did it do for her.

neeetu ke apne past ka kya? Read stuff on this forum about her mom pushing her to do stuff in the industry when she was underage so should we blame neetu for that

Well, if Katrina (big if) was not honest about her parentage even to them I can see why they wouldn't like her to some degree. I mean, there is more proof she isn't of any Indian parentage and when she entered the industry she went on with the lie which I get why, but there is not point to it now. I think it's an open secret at this point. I think most speculation was that she was an escort and not really a model as she claims and for that I don't see why the Kapoors have any issues (their family history is also shoddy) so they are not saints to judge themselves. For their namesake they probably want someone with not much of a past which is just misogynistic and hypocritical. Though, at the end of the day, who knows and imo I think Katrina dodged a bullet.
