When do you think a character crosses the line and becomes annoyingly arrogant from charismatic arrogant.
We all the the characters who just are plain arrogant but we still like them. we still like their snarky remarks, their witty insults, their total disregard for other peoples' emotions etc.
Examples for those type of characters:
Dr. House.
Sherlock Holmes (BBC one).
Tony Stark.
Don(SRK one is much more cruel (and sometimes just plain evil) than the original Bachchan one. But many people liked SRK don too.)
I want to write arrogantly charming characters but I want to find out the line they shouldn't cross.
As a writer , I can affirm every character will have both admirers and critics among the audience. If a character is too arrogant, add moments of vulnerability and show empathy to make them more relatable.
... Or their actions are NOT glorified or romanticised...

that's not to say that she didn't love dork version but people tend to make other person better.... However, my issues start with mindset of woman being therapy center... It's cringe... Like burning moon... FL is saying she will change ML because he has hidden personality of goodness ... Like is that even your job?
