Do they arrest people in USA if you fail to pay for water? matlab are they exaggerating or this is real?

They are definitely exaggerating. I mean my mother's friend has been to the US(in a group) and she said she found the people there to be quite polite. They were a stickler for rules, not cutting in lines, following traffic rules etc but she had pleasant experience.

And in any case the police/authorities can actually help Anupama in the situation she is in. She could ask for a lawyer or demand to have contact with the Indian Embassy. We live in an electronic age. She can state the flight she took to come to America and those details can be cross verified with the airlines.

I refuse to believe her visa and passport details cannot be verified by airport authorities or that the police wouldn't let her get in touch with a lawyer and instead just put her in jail

The show makers have no sense anyways. I mean Samar's murder case hearing and sentencing were all done in one episode so what else can you expect from them 🙄

She is not being taken for not paying for water which she never bought.

She is being taken for questioning probably not even arrested, because she has no paperwork with her, no passport and other supporting documents for her entry and stay in the US.

It’s Maa who is exaggerating honestly, because she is gawar and doesn’t know how to behave in public that too in a foreign land, she can just be cooperative with the cops and tell them about the incident that happened last night but she will do all sorts of drama, resist, cry, beg, her pathetic dukhyari aaaaaaa music will play which is not even needed.

How will the police help her get passport back if she doesn’t cooperate 😂
