Unlike Munnabhai , 3 Idiots which was funny and emotional plus good songs. Post that Hirani films have been going down.

PK though decent was actually boring and so was Sanju. The film's rode on the feel good factor but unlike his previous films these never got unanimous claims.

Dunki trailer was slow. The main ingredient for a film to do well is entertainment. If the film entertains you, you forget all the flaws and go with the flow. If a film becomes boring even a well intentioned film flaws will be picked up and people would be like we can watch it at home or ott.

I was agreeing with you in my first post that Dunki's opening numbers seem failure only because of SRK's stature otherwise people are giving 13cr in solo Eid release with over 4500 screens

I just hope this doesn't encourages Bollywood to go overboard with the action genre (like they always do)

I feel we are in an action film epidemic in Bollywood, and if Salaar wins over Dunki, then people like me (who are not fans of Pathaan and KGF type of films) are doomed.
