I agree with her for saying models should have general knowledge but don't agree with speaking English. It's not just models, an average human being should have basic general knowledge and that has nothing to do with educational qualification. A lot of older people with not much higher education will have way better general knowledge than a young graduate.

Iman herself don't look like someone who speaks good English. I don't know much about her except seeing two three clips from her IVs and in all of that she was speaking Urdu. Then through reddit I got to know she used to date imtiaz ali for 7-8 yrs

Some other senior model who might be in her 40s also said something similar about young models and she was much more demeaning. I guess she said nowadays models come from middle class and lower middle class families and they don't have class or something like that.

I agree about people needing to be knowledgeable but I don’t think Iman herself is knowledgeable. Girl is always saying one stupid thing after another . Even her comments about feminism shows she didn’t know what she was talking about . Her dad was an actor but he basically abandoned the family and married someone else so I don’t even think she grew up as elite as she acts .

Iman was once popular, she’s a nepo baby and debuted at a time there wasn’t much competition so she could be an it girl without much competition. She’s never done dramas but she was in de bol which was at one point the biggest Pakistani films . It was Mahira’s debut film and I think she probably got more hype than Iman because of the song hona tha pyar with Atif Aslam. That’s probably where her saltiness with Mahira comes from.

She was once bigger than Mahira but she rejected a lot of films and kinda became irrelevant. She says she was first choice for raees but rejected it for some reason . She also dropped out of main Punjabi nahi jaungi with Humayun Saeed, dil lagi also with humayun, all these became hits so I don’t understand what her problem is. She doesn’t seem to want to work but also wants attention for work she didn’t do .
