Tara cancelling her engagement with Arjun was again executed in a pretty thanda manner I feel. Also it was feeling weird that she was looking so guilty and reluctant to cancel the engagement......especially right after she was shown getting so emotional over mera Deva, mera Deva.

It literally took her seeing a photo of Raunak again to manage to work up the courage to cancel the engagement.....lol I guess script-wise the timing/momentum was feeling a little disjointed since they sent her back to cancel the engagement and then come back to the haveli to marry Deva.

So Deva's plan is to basically marry her in the main hall of the haveli....lakdiyaan ikatthi karva raha tha apne servants se.....lol also he seems to think that marrying him will be the biggest punishment for Tara

He showed his wounds to Tara today and didn't let her touch them....toh Tara was apologizing again and saying kaash main kuch kar sakti to heal these wounds and he's like there is one thing you can do, so she's like I will do anything .....pehle hi maan gayi advance mein and jab andar jaake shaadi ka mandap dekha toh shock mein aa gayi

Also woh Arjun is also on the way to haveli cuz he suspects Deva did something to get the engagement cancelled....so all these people will land up just in time to see Deva-Tara married I guess

That Deva Tara scene wad the whole epi for me rest was lulz but that was so worth it Deva questioning her kya mila usko..showing all his emotional and physical hurt in such a raw manner.. he bared his soul and vishal was terrific as usual👏👏 loved the way he was like yeah you should see but you are not allowed to touch or heal just yet.. you ruined MG life let me ruin yours little does he know isse ho hi nahi paayega matlab the guy legit is pretending to hold yeh ronak captive and kal se 50x bil chuka hai to his minions he shouldn't even get 1 scratch yeh lega badla and karega life ruin Deva ke so called badle main bhi itna pyaar chupa hai haha he mainly just wanted his Tara memsaab for himself 🤣 matlab badly ke loye itna grand shaadi kar raha..I have to say despite the whole force her to marrybtripe so far they have done such a good job at keeping that softer part of dev intact even when he is being harsh rude and showing his crazy anger 😠 he is still very sane how he is executing it and applause to that. Tara genuinly want to make i5 better and has remorse except that she still just tries to do a generic ok Will try to make it better bechari seriously think at this time her genuine attempts will soften him..Tara beta more than all that it is the fact that you chose that chomu that is hurting him woh sab toh iss waqt Deva ke liye motive hai and excuse hai haha jotna marzi keh le he wants to ruin your life 😆

But uss chomu ka fave was so worth 🍿🍿🍿 when Tara pulled her hand 😆😆😆 uske baad kya jacket phenka usne and chale hain maseeah banane little does he know isko Deva jaisa muh waise chapped dene wala hai.. yeah it was pretty hilarious the say Tara again just sat and was waiting till last sec when she has such time constraint..and then I laughed ke yeh ananya and arjun use their own cats bur Tara madam ke loye roz available nahi hoti if she has to go to hospital it is thela if she has to go tk Deva in tight schedule she has to run on roada woh sab faltu build up tha but I am so waiting for Monday this is such good feelz Wali episodes that I want them to watch in groove in one go once they all air and am this close to mix them bruh mere ko 3 ssaal baad itna solid attachment and feelz aa rahe hain the thu thi

Yes, Deva is trying very hard to project cold-hearted menace etc. but he is just too much of a softie and ends up revealing his soft side in some form or the other. Saale saab ki khaatirdaari karva raha hai apne gundo se mazey mein and Tara ko daraane ke liye kuch bhi bol raha hai

I'm also liking how they are not taking the usual route of MLs who keep all their pain and grudges inside in order to just keep the revenge, insulting etc. going without revealing their motives. But Deva sab bol ke kar raha hai....he isn't hiding the fact that it is his pain and hurt that is driving him the most to want to take this badla.....like today also the way he talked about how he could see the chaand all that time but woh chaand saath chalta nahin, jalta tha.....and the way he burned with these questions all these years ki yeh karke kya mila Tara ko....that she retreated to her comfortable life while he suffered unimaginable things....he laid it all bare for her.

Yes forced marriage trope hai but honestly ITV ki current gaslighting bakwaas dekh ke, forced marriage trope almost feels like nostalgia of when ITV was way better.....and even within that trope, as you said they are doing some things differently....like Tara finding out about him being Deva in advance and him not trying to hide it anymore, her getting to see his wounds and the rawness of his pain....all of that building into her own motivations for going along with the shaadi.

And yes, 100 baaton ki ek baat, Deva is even more hurt that she has paaloed that chomu as a dost all these years....now nothing will heal his hurt unless he sees Tara choosing him over the Chomu.....and yes, this is one way of ensuring he has a say in Tara's life - by marrying her so that Chomu can no longer boast about meri mangetar aur uski haveli blah blah

The googly in all this for Deva is that his mind is so muddled up with his pain and badla chants that he isn't realizing that marrying him won't be a punishment for Tara since he's all she's yearned for all these years.....she's literally a zombie with everyone else and mainly burdened with the drama of her useless family.....lol

Finished watching Archies today and really don't get why people went overboard bashing it so much.

Was a simple breezy musical film and I guess I personally like musicals so it worked for me.

Cast was also all decent in their roles and nothing so terrible that people have been outraging on social media over. Frankly I found Agastya kinda bland and Suhana surprised me - she has screen presence and I liked her voice also - deffo way better than Jhanvi/Ananya types. Khushi was also ok. That guy who played Reggie was better than Agastya IMO. Supporting cast was nice too and I enjoyed the retro soundtrack....reminded me of SEL retro sounding soundtracks from the 2000s like DCH and all....ahh nostalgia.

All in all, it was just a simple film about a group of friends trying to save their town....reminded me of simpler times and the books I read in my childhood before the world became the garbage it is today

i just found it too bland and snoozeworthy and very wannabeeish.. the main 3 were okayish aajkal ka jo bhi standard hai but i did like suhana contrary to the hateshe has been getting and mostly caz of her looks.. the colorism and the whoel extra hate for ehr color is pathetic the kind of tweets based on her looks the thinsg people have been saying have been extreme khushi had her moments but then idk that kapoor family the whole of it should be sacked itne bland and Murderous aulaad hai na Boney and anil kapoor ki industry ka tiya paancha kar dia inho ne apne na hoen wale talent se... and abhi woh shanaya bhi ahi forced thrown inour faces i really can't stand them onscreen.. jhanchia nd khushi atelkast offscreen i ahev a bit high tolerance for but the rest PLZZZ SPARE US

LOL wannabeish toh nahin lagi mujhe....like it didn't give me plastic vibes which films like SOTY etc. have given in recent times. This was set in an Anglo-Indian environment 1960s toh uske hisaab se set up kiya hua tha sab....thoda bubblegum bhi tha cuz it was inspired from the comics. Kaafi true to the comics tha.

Again I would use the word simple, not bland. They kept the plot pretty simple but mujhe bland toh nahin lagaa cuz I wasn't bored watching it like I am watching most things that come out these days. The songs were nice and catchy, the kids were decent and not a turn off to watch on screen....so breezy timepass for me.

Jhanvi is sweet to watch offscreen but her voice and dialogue delivery is pretty atrocious onscreen.....Suhana ko I've only seen from her offscreen pics before this and she used to give those plastic Barbie vibes given the kind of clothes she wears but onscreen I got a pretty sweet vibe from her....she managed to play Veronica sweetly when she's supposed to pretty bitchy in the comics. She was able to emote vulnerability in her eyes nicely too - her standout scene is the one when she confronts her father. Frankly these kids got a great deal in working in an ensemble Zoya production than having to carry a whole film on their shoulder by themselves as a debut....the ensemble part helped show a warm vibe overall and friendship stood out more than anything - I liked that message from the story with the way the girls sorted out their issue and even how Reggie handled Dilton's feelings for him. Even Khushi was decent as Betty and I didn't get a plastic vibe from her. Aage toh remains to be seen what kind of projects they all do but as of now, they did good for their first project.

Seems like barhatya film ka TV version which is kinda refreshing at this time and much needed for now the promo is looking sweet sa .. Definitely way better than dumbul ji but I guess KBC will end soon
