Hai na? Why a second to show her? That scene had nothing to do there, but agar dekhaya toh kuch zaroor hai. Let's see if it's not another blunder.

Dont think it's a blunder. The bg music wasnt pleasant either. So it felt deliberate. Something will come up later. Let's see.

But good that this curiosity is something that they didnt kill by revealing it after 5 mins / even in the next episode / by repeating the same look 4-5 times (like they did with her phone call in the first ep.)smiley20

I don't see the different age gap either as I have followed them for a few years now toh har pics mein Sriti looks younger like age doesn't affect her. Yahan maybe a different hairstyle ya kuch help kar sakta ta for those who see the difference age gap. Sometimes I guess, style, makeup, and all, play a lot in this matter.

May be during office hours sari is a dress code. Possible.

There was a clip that had leaked - of the mock test. In that she clearly looked older than him. Guess they made necessary changes later on when it came to the show.

This is not about traditional versus sensuous clothing or simplicity.

In most private banks if we notice female officers/managers are free to wear Indian (sarees or salwars), Western or Indo-Western fusion clothes as formal wear, its more about dignified & professional look..smiley9 yeah some banks restrict bright/gaudy colors & heavy jewels, that's it. smiley14 but no private banks have sarees as compulsory wear for females.

Here an young simple talkative smiley14a supposedly confident & outspoken, vibrant Amruta isn't dressed most times as per her character, job role & age in KMTMG.smiley6

Her ill fitting high V neck blouses (in saree pics that I shared in my earlier post), choice of sarees & drape style tend to show her onscreen as if some aged mom from a small city.

Below pics have better fitting blouses & saree looks, where Amruta somewhat appears like an young vibrant confident working girl.

The last few sarees and the long blouse pattern and the color choice did not look suitable. There are so many varieties and qualities of sarees with good color patterns available now which can be worn in a trendy/decent manner with trendy blouse patterns which even the middle ages women wear, Amruta can wear such definitely. For Sriti, offscreen from old pictures have seen that plain sarees/light designed ones with good colors suited her well, she normally wears sleeveless

KMTMG team have still not settled into a pattern, they need so many issues to be taken care of, if they do, it will be better but episodes are getting better

I dont see that as an issue. So lets agree to disagree. smiley20

More concerned about why his name on her phone changes from his full name to 'Shengdaana' to 'Virat Shingdana' to 'Shingdana' - which also includes shift from e to i in the spelling b/w 2nd and 4th and an 'a' avoided smiley36A goof up... but its supposedly her phone.. so may be we have to take that she is obsessed with changing his name all the time. smiley36

I think it mostly to do with Virat's style of dressing and less to Amruta's, Virat is seen wearing very trendy wears with shirts mostly left open, which is followed by the very young males, the dress Amruta was wearing during the drunk scene made her look younger and equal his age. It is the sarees which makes a difference, particularly the choice of colors and long blouses which sometimes shows the age difference

The precap of ep 21 suggests, unlike the promo, that Rajeev was trying to be angry and violent with her - not something sexual / molestation related. May be its there before the scene shown or may be the promo was presented that way. Its better if it is as shown in the precap - doesnt make sense if he does the other thing on his engagement day.

PS: An iv of the actor suggests he was also drunk. So... lets see.

Sriti is fitter now, looking vibrant & pretty in KMTMG.smiley10

But Amruta is an young unmarried simple Mumbai girl, works as CRM in a private bank, why is Amruta being dressed as if 'small city mid age homemaker mother'?smiley24

(its not looking simple, but mismatch to Amruta's character & age) smiley22

I feel she was looking better in sleeveless and short arm blouses, with silk sarees in the 1st few episodes. But now suddenly the design of the saris and them being cotton than silk, leaves more to be desired. But then I think it was done in keeping with her loss of status. From her father’s sheltered, somewhat upper middle class house-hold to her now poorer, living with her beloved Jahan aunty..

Also I believe they are experimenting, her night suits/salwar kameezes are much more tighter and body hugging than the cotton sarees which cover her body that she wears during daytime, so don’t think they are keeping in mind Sriti looking like a mid age homemaker mother.

I haven’t seen all the episodes yet. Last I think I saw 14th Dec episode. Good, if there is no molestation. Even the 1st molestation was weird. They (goons) were trying to shine that desk lamp in her eyes.. to prevent her from picking up Virat’s call?! But it’s better to take away her cell altogether than shining a lamp in an inebriated woman’s face. smiley24 That was somewhat confusing for me..

Although loved Amruta’s drunken ‘Yeh kali kali aankhein..’ reference to pronounce her name.. smiley37
