I doubt he will be a permanent character in Anupama. They mentioned a special appearance, so it's likely for a brief period only. If Manish isn't there, then when they reveal the truth, who will support Abhira? It might be similar to what happened today. Surekha will be on Ruhi's side, Swarna not on any side, and Manish will certainly be on Abhira's side.
