I have no idea whether they are or aren’t divorcing. Kind of expect they won’t given Sweta’s and parent’s evident marital situation. Still I am shocked at the number of people here and elsewhere who look at still photographs of them standing feet from each other smiling or both attending the school function of their *mutual* daughter and totally ignore videos of them barely interacting or arriving for the school function in separate cars and saying one terse sentence each (I can’t hear what he said but she said “tell me about it!”) before not interacting again and are like, see everything is absolutely peachy! It’s kind of funny but also kind of not. Anyway I can remember watching Hrithik and Sussanne wrap their arms around each and smile for the cameras at Papa Roshan’s birthday in 2013 while already living separately but before publicly announcing it. This all feels much less convincing than that TBH. Hope they both find happiness regardless of other’s expectations and their daughter feels secure and loved no matter what her parents choose to do.

The only thing that I find weird is, this is the second time the Bachchans have made a point for Abhishek-Ash to be seen together.

Today the rumor mill was strong and suddenly they responded swiftly by showing up in public. Why this strong need to "prove" that they are together if there are no issues? They usually do not get photographed so much.

Something is certainly going on. Not sure what.

I doubt they arranged DAIS annual day overnight to quell the rumors . These were big events arranged by others where they would obviously attend or there would be equal publicity they hadn’t. I mean they would attend this school event even if already divorced, it’s for their daughter. Honestly the fact they arrived separately when they know the rumors are at fever pitch says to me they aren’t seriously trying to hide it. If it’s true that Amitabh didn’t acknowledge Aisha’s namaste (I didn’t see that video just read it so don’t know if true) that fairly screams not remotely trying to cover up a rift.
