Sukhee reminded me a lot of English Vinglish. It wasn't as huge a film as that but it had generally good reviews and audience reactions and has been successful enough to spawn a sequel.
I do hope Shilpa will get some acknowledgement. She's already mentioned feeling that she doesn't get enough love from the award shows.
I liked Sukhee. Shilpa was decent. She won't be nominated though. It's all lobbying and PR and I don't think she's really out there except for being in news because of her chindi husband.
