This T20 series against South Africa and the 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan in January are the only international matches that India have on their hands before the T20 World Cup next year at the USA and West Indies.

So far, the results have been less than ideal for the Men in Blue after losing one game to rain and another to the Proteas. Now, with 4 matches in hand to fine tune their T20 set up before another marquee tournament, India will look for favourable results in the remaining matches.
