RCE isn't panicking which can be because they are extremely lazy people who recently had a blockbuster so they don't mind SRK losing a few crores but RCE goes into panic mode when they think the buzz is low

There has been low content from both films that are clashing.

South films are all about advances and day 1 numbers.

Dunki is doing the same numbers abroad as Pathaan.

Jawan had a south director and some south stars,so...

Finally Jawan couldn't match the numbers of Pathaan overseas or in Hindi language in India.

I wonder if the lack of Deepika is also a factor. People on this forum may dismiss her, but she's one of the few female stars still left with box office power and legions of fans online. Pathaan and Jawan both benefitted from Deepika's name being attached to those films whereas Dunki doesn't have that. Taapsee is not a superstar by any means.
