Yes, film is glorified, celebrated & giving audience all excuses to go wild if they want.

If this film would have only hit or superhit, it would have been another gore film success, but to our choices this film will be standing in top 5 grossing films for long time.

More severe vulgarity will come, coz this is monster success, and they will milk it to max.

That had been my first thought when watching the teaser (announcement video)...if it would be a financial success...and now, it is.

I watched the movie today.

The good:

RK went all out! He owned the movie plus looked really good especially in long hair.

Tripti looked stunning! I have seen and liked Bulbul. But big screen is something else! She looked lovely in her earthy beauty and did well in her part.

Her and RK's chemistry is awesome! And unexplored yet. They should be cast in a movie asap.

Rashmika is pretty and emotes well enough. But her dialogue delivery is very off and the thick southern accent grates ears.

Everyone else did well in their respevtive parts.

Man the reaction here and very misleading notion that Tripti did some outrageously explicit scenes were not at all what happened. The semi nude post sex scene lasted about 5 seconds and went well with the movie.

The action scenes are in abundance and It did not bother me as I am a GoT fan. Lol they were well done too.

The bad: Bobby wedding scene and to show that women have no agency in Scotland is grossly misleading. The whole post wedding shenanigans were the only thing that was actually disgusting and unpalatable.

The bra strap pulling scene is clearly inspired by 50 shades of Grey! I am not gonna show faux outrage over the other "misogynist" things said and done by Vijay as Geetanjali herself seems a little whacko in her love!

I saw backlash over the thappad dialogues between Vijay and Geeta and hardly any outrage over the fact Geeta slaps Vijay multiple times in rage which is DV! Wonder why everyone chose to ignore that.

And Geeta actually does not seem to care to hoot over muders comitted by her husband but orders her husband to murder Zoya out of jealousy!

It is a dysfunctional relationship and often fueled by unhealthy passion/obsession, from both sides!

Some comedy bits were crass.

The last slasher scene legit gives GoT vibes!

I think Ranvijay clearly had feelings for Zoya no matter what he says!

I would rate it 3.5/5

It is not the best movie ever but I am intrigued to see what happens in Animal Park.

Adding some things I forgot to mention

While watching the movie, it is crystal clear to me that Ranvijay is not your regular good guy. He is called a criminal multiple times. And crazy too by his sister, wife and father. His father seemed more worried of his crimes and scared of him than his wife. Geetanjali's weird non chalance to the knowledge that he has murdered multiple men is an indication that this is make believe world. She is okay with murder but draws the line at cheating! Lol

He is an anti hero at best.

I am not at all in support of censoring poeple and art, but if people are triggered and influenced very easily, they should stay miles away from the movie.
