What you are raising about medical facilities available to Ninad is perfect . A retired colonel gets a pension, can use army Canteen to buy stuff at subsidised rates and has access to MH. For that matter Savi and Vinu are also eligible to receive government support as children of a deceased police commissioner. What they are showing is high on melodrama quotient .

When savi could use projector to share Kiran and Samrudhs truth getting Reeva so close to Ishaan that too so soon after joining the college increases the cringe quotient.

Savi has already been warned by Ishaan to stay away from his personal matters she needs to constantly be fire fighting which is why she rakes us issues .

I guess the precap is misleading and this almost looks like a plot of the upcoming 50-60 episodes. Savi will be involved in a way but I don't think she will inform the media. I feel Surekha will be responsible for involving media to create misunderstanding between Ishvi. Savi has a bad habit of interfering in other people matters but she is not bewakoof. Acche acchon ke muh se khade khade confess Kara leti hai ladki so aise directly media mein toh jayegi nahi. This plot will only lead to Ishan-Reeva engagement so that means it's gonna take some time
