Again, I haven't been watching regularly, but from what I can understand

Sona-Chandi will lock Dhruvakshi together. Their aim is to probably show Dhruv in a bad light so that SPS (who brought him in) is also shown in a bad light in front of Bhabosa, and therefore their husband (Maan) can be shown as an alternative to the throne.

If this is anyway going to be the track, why spoil Tara's character and the D-T ship further (she already has less credit in the bank for most of the viewers) and have her insinuate to Bhabosa that Dhruv could be a danger to Meenakshi in parallel to the Sona-Chandi plan?

You could still have Tara keep quiet. S-C execute their plan, and D will anyway be ordered to be a prisoner by Bhabosa.

I sometimes really dunno what the makers are smoking.

That was long back- just before Dhruv's entry into SPS' Kingdom. That episode aired 3 weeks ago iirc.

I thought you were referring to a new threat to Junior, hence the shocked reaction to your earlier post.
