All awards are lobbying and pr does not matter who deserves , matters who you know and lobby for.

Aloo was good in Darlings. Well deserved.

I rate Alia as an actress and if this was won due to votes then congrats to her but Tripti was more deserving in my opinion.

I just find it sad that there are actresses like Tripti and yet she is being ignored just because Alia is more popular.

Its concerning when one person is winning awards constantly depsite there being a better contender. I have always liked Alia but this whole propaganda that she is the only best thing to exist in Bollywood, is getting stale.

You can blame the audience for that, just looking at the way the fans behave on this forum, a part of me feels like they deserve Alia and Suhana types.

I think the only fair solution is to create a separate category for Best Alia Performance of the Year. Everyone else simply can't compete with Mother

If you weren't as wrapped up in her as her fans are, you probably would've posted the entire winners' list instead of laser-focusing on her. Because of your post, no one is talking about Manoj Bajpayee, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmila Tagore and other winners. Maybe you are to be equally blamed LOL.

That's true though. Even if an outsider had won it, it would have been someone who lobbied herself or been sleeping with the producer or a politician who lobbied on her behalf.

That's partly true. The only reason nepo kids generate more gp is because they are over exposed. Newcomers don't get such exposure hence less audience interest and thats why it takes them more time to establish themselves.

See this wasn't the case before.
