I'm even more interested in the movie now. Its good to see a movie pushing boundaries. Bollywood plays it too safe now (much like Hollywood, completely sanitized)

This looks way more interesting than yet another boring biopic, nationalistic circlejerk or generic Masala movie

I just hope the Protagonist doesn’t get some cheesy happy ending like in Kabir Singh. The latter Was interesting and showed a broken and flawed man but then the forced happy end felt wrong. I love anti heroes but the shouldn't be rewarded

A Big star can choose any role to show off his talent. What was so appealing in this.

Heh? A film doesn't *need* a hero, heroine, and villain. It has main and side characters.

Michael Corleone, Scarlett O'Hara were not heroic. Arth has a female main character, with male main character and the side chick both gray. Masoom has no villains, although several characters do bad things. Gangs of Wasseypur, Ludo, Monica O' My Darling have all *villains* if you want to call them that.

An actor playing a negative character is not surprising. The justification of the character (or not) is done by the director. Cinema has always been a director's medium, and any glorification of violence will be Vanga's responsibility. Because he is the storyteller.

RK loves the way Vanga thinks..he believes that Arjun Reddy was the greatest Love story.He has every right to his opinion and what he does with his career.

RK signed Films with Love and Vanga after Hirani directed Sanju.Hirani was dumped by Vidhu Chopra after the Metoo accusations..His wish.

Animal will have a huge weekend.I am more interested in how the critics are going to review..how many will try to skirt around the problematic issues.

Only months after all the noise has died down..we will know what impact the film had.

I still am curious, why senior trade journalist like Taran Adarsh,Komal Nahta,Atul Mohan have refused to share Animal trailer. No one seems to find it strange. Has any huge film by a major star been ignored before.If YOU can give an explanation, it will clear my doubt.

There is a difference between the two. What's more, you know it but are deliberately conflating the two.

Once again, actors like playing negative roles because they tend to be juicier. Director being insane doesn't reflect on the actor. Once Ranbir himself starts justifying violence, then feel free to blame him. Otherwise, you're just maligning someone without cause.

Please feel free to defend Ranbir. Other than this film..I have not posted more than a couple of posts on any of his films ..I talk about trailers and promos in general. This time may be more.

But show you the receipts for what exactly? You're asking to prove a negative. That Ranbir doesn't think the same way as Vanga. Presumed guilty until proven innocent.

You remember thatI was quite sure after seeing Sanju promos! Now I am not saying anything about Dunki. I don't like the promos.. but one learns with experience. With big films, big directors,promos don't matter.
