To be honest, I made peace with the fact that this is how the family would be if only story is considered.

Isha = Sai

Shantanu = Virat

Ishaan = Estranged Vinu

Surekha = Patralekha

Yeshwant = Some random rich guy SurePatrale-kha trapped.

Probably this is so much on my mind that

a. I love watching Isha Ishaan scenes

b: I don't see any romance between Ishaan and Savi.

Exactly this. Love Isha and Ishaan and Isha and Savi scenes. That is exactly how Sai was.

in green - yes. they should have continued with that for a while and once they get their happy ending then start a new storyline with Savi and Vinu's partners.

It was a good chance to fix what was messed up due to other reasons. get new actors and have a proper closure for the characters

I still like Veeru, Sai and obsessed Pakhi didi

No one can match " Sai" that was a character of it's own .... Sarrat was in another league altogether

Hopefully things will improve as story goes ahead

Side characters like Jagtap won’t be referred in the new Gen.

New gen is like a new show - more like a spinoff by taking once character and basing the story on that character.

They will serve the same story

How I would have loved seeing Chidkiya married to Reeva but ghum in Savi’s thoughts, which Bajirao would take ample occasions to rub in the fact he’s married Savi! And Savi the innocent beguiling one, living her life as if she never knew about Ishaan’s feelings!

I agree with you. It's disgusting to see the third angle taking extreme steps to get the Male lead. I don't understand what kind of joy the makers and viewers get by watching such crap. Infact all the viewers want is romance and nothing else.

There's a new RS show which has begun on SP a few months back and there too the viewers want romance from the lead pair

During the initial days there was no third angle. The villain would be someone else. But, now the third angle or the parallel lead has become common. And, sometimes it's the female lead's sister which is disgusting. I feel like puking 🤮

Yes, absolutely. There was something special that pulled me towards SaiRat / NeilSha which is missing in Ishaan - Savi. Even the title track doesn't hold the charm.
