Word to your review :).....I also liked how they did the dream sequence....no lip syncing mercifully to make it more filmy....just kept it to them finding that serenity with each other, feeling content, loved and then the shot of the tear rolling down each of their eys in the end symbolizing the pain that underscores even this little dream where they imagine they can be together.

They've really woven in the imagery of the amaltas flowers very well in the story....har scene mein woh backdrop hota hai kisi na kisi tarhaan....it's like all these elements - Badshah, the amaltas flowers, the memories they experienced together - they all are woven together to tell their story. In the middle weeks it was kinda starting to feel a bit heavy handed like used in decor in the hallways or everywhere where they are but they have managed to control it and use it Un important sequences well warna woh pointless weeks main pointless imagery bhi thodi lulz lagi thi mujhe at times but never annoying or turn off inwas amused by the ways they would involve it too

And yes, all their scenes inside the freezer also were well shot....I kept dreading it will go downhill at some point but they kept a consistency and graph of emotions for all those scenes....kuch disjointed nahin feel hua and the emotional build up came through....the way they held on to each other, talked about what they mean to each other in their own words....getting to have an open convo even if they may not remember it later....lol it was well written. After many days got to see a nice track without some typical bait and switch waiting around the corner. +1 I had very low expectations from her but she seems to prove me wrong and is suiting the role and is able to actually aft then the standard 2 expressions..also yeah I too felt it was very alia inspired but that in bold and highlighted she still exudes her own charm and brings her individuality and what I mean by that is uski photocopy nahi lagti ..although am happy she is given simple looks mostly even with the sari nothing looks too heavy even when sometimes the blouses have very deep cuts they balance it out with makeup even lighter or hair she never looks overdressed or underdressed nor over for work .

Honestly, Kanika has also surprised me in this track....she is supporting Vishal aptly as Tara....they are both feeling apt for their characters and you can see the give and take as actors happening well. Even though Tara's appearance is heavily inspired from Rani in Rocky aur Rani and today toh they even got us movie ka song playing on them....lol but Kanika is managing to hold her own as Tara. They are both growing into their chemistry I feel with every scene....even the typical eyelock scenes somehow don't feel so typical....maybe cuz both actors seem to have understood the emotional brief of their characters and are playing it from that baseline rather than trying to project romance in a certain way.

Woh Dad bhi I don't think villain hai....the Chacha probably manipulated him to convince Tara to lie....

I have my doubts too woh aur itne ache nahi they anywaya had plans that day to kill tara and papa.. toh i fully beleive they manipulated that ronak guy too and then papa and baad main acted as ifnthey care or who knows even a hand in the lie that deva died caz in today all they showed them with the police and tara beleived it there is nothing on how he died or what..

Ananya I think knew they were trapped in that factory....lol last week jab location track ki thi Tara ne, Ananya was with her but then Tara went ahead to the factory first and told Ananya to bring reinforcements.....woh laane mein hi 2 episodes lag gaye Ananya ko thank you for the update from.last week I was like yeh achanak kahan se aa gayi

UFFF magical isko kehte hain chemistry *touchwood* and as you were saying ke how they are doing the eyelocks and sab bhi diffferently i totally agree that tenderness in every touch in every look was so nice to feel.. the way he holds her like the most naazuk thing but tara never giving that nazuk chui mui heroine.. and that too when he is angry as you said in the last post usse ho hi nahi paata ke tara ke khilaaf jo bhi soche usse sakhti kar le ya anger main bhi usse rougly behave kare and i really like that about thier dynamic even when they are fighting they do it in tehzeeb ka dayara and am so glad that theya re not doing th etypical push pull hand twist kinda thing.. also as we were talkign about his groundedness as a chracter i was so amused by deva wearing his suit with a chappal.. liek that is quitessential Deva jitna bhi outlook modern kar le woh desipan aa hi jaayega

like the top 4/5 caps are quitessential ITV eyelock in NDe Trope but these 2 are not makign it look liek that that becoems annoying to watch and breaks the flow of the scene or the characters

Thanks, yaar.....haha yeah she deffo looks like Alia from some angles and I do wonder if they factored that into casting since they have totally styled her character like Rani

The aesthetics of the dream sequence pleasantly surprised me....they genuinely put thought into what they wanted to show vis a vis the way both of them sort of retreated mentally into this dream world where they could be together and away from the trauma/discomfort of freezing to death in that freezer.

Yeah even though the blouses have deep cuts and they are trying to be sasta Manish Malhotra in some ways, I think she is still carrying the saris well and its not looking vulgar....they are clearly trying to go for a sexy sari vibe in Tara's styling but keeping the makeup simple and just usually giving her oxidized jewelery is balancing things out without making it look too heavy.

Kanika I think has managed to pick up on Tara's basic empathy as a character and she is able to add depth there cuz of the history between the characters and Tara being shown so emotionally bonded to Deva....she still needs to work on her voice modulation and it becomes monotonic sometimes but more or less she's doing a decent job....even the bubbly bantering bits I think they've both found a rhythm on and it's not feeling overboard to me now.....woh cricket scenes I enjoyed

Yeah few epis back the Chachi was saying something about how they set the fire deliberately to try to kill Tara's dad so it's likely they also used Raunak for that purpose but since Tara's dad survived, they found a way to pin the whole thing on Deva.

Haan so far they aren't doing the push/pull in that typical manner either....the one time he grabbed Tara's arms cuz she kept badgering him to put the haldi lep on him, then also he let go instantly the moment she said he's hurting her....and he instantly had this lost puppy look on his face like how could he have hurt her.....he kept telling her to leave but woh sunti hi nahin....lol tehzeeb se hi bolta hai but Tara is also persistent in her fikar for him.

This is why chhota Deva keeps laughing at him ki bhai tujhse nahin hona cuz woh teri Tara Memsaab hai and you won't be able to see her in pain....I mean look at him yeh freezer scene mein hi you can see iski jaan atki hai Tara mein....do second toh uska discomfort bardaasht nahin kar paata....lol all he can do is silly stuff like making her do handwritten notes for the designs

Re: chappals with the suit....lol oh I think that might have also been cuz Vishal was hurt in his foot and was wearing a bandage there since 3-4 epis....it's been like this since the epi when Deva beat up Palash and it seemed like actual injury ho gayi Vishal ko cuz the bandage was visible in every scene after that.

But I hear you otherwise on how his desipana shows through even when he's wearing suits otherwise

I like his styling so far too....it's got a nice casual ease about it even when he wears loose shirts with pants.....also you must have noticed how they only keep him wearing black or white clothes in every scene.....so far they haven't deviated from that color scheme for him

Deva ka smirk seems to indicate he's going to play a new round of mind games with Tara
