Cricket is a passion, Nado, an obsession in India, and few people even behave irrationally sometimes. The other day, a 23 year old hung himself to death in Kolkata as India lost the finals, I feel sorry for such skewed thinking, how can your life and happiness depend upon just one overwhelming obsession?

Madhu I was following Cricket with my younger Son when he was here, now he is in US, so not following. This time my husband was following world cup and this match he was so excited, in that way I was updated and shared about the loss with you all.

He might have drawn parallel of India loosing World cup with his life failures, hence took extreme step.

As far as I can see, your national team beat all opponents superiorly until the finals. Sometimes that's a problem, knowing you're so good can make it feel like it's over before it really is. And then we actually defeat ourselves.
