Gulaal was a show before is time with great ensemble cast and writers to match. Gulaal was married to Vasant then he as was killed by his elder brother (cousin) who was also in love with Gulaal. There is a ritual in the town call Deeyarvattu, that a widow must marry the younger brother. But the town elders wanted her to marry Dushyant but since Gulaal suspected that he killed her husband by pushing him of a bridge, she performed the ceremony with the younger brother Kesar, who was 12 at the time.

i remember watching that show i watched until younger brother grows up. And gulal tries to tell him to marry girl who is of his age. He need not hesistate because he is married as their marriage is just for the sake of society. He need not be responsible for her.😁 post that i relocated so no access to tv

Yes Gulaal, promised Talli will married Kesar once he returned from boarding school, well let just say Kesar had different plans. Neil Bhatt, was exceptional in the role of Kesar

i have not watched ghum when ppl say neil was bad there i could not believe as i felt he was a good actor in arsalan and gulal

I would never use the word bad with Neil, but you could tell when he was bored with the script or direction of the show. Plus his other roles were different from Virat and required different range, that people were expecting more than was required.

actors do get fed up i have seen many good actors loosing interest. old shows were good atleast ppl remember them for story now a days all stories are remembered for fd wars and writers lacking writing skills
