Yes yes time to join in the conversation! i feel like i've missed loads (which i hate) i had to avoid this forum and twitter for a week which was no fun.
i usually go first day for SRK and Salman movies but no one wanted to go with me to watch Tiger 3. a lot of my family are pissed off at all the Khan's for not raising awarenessabout the israeli genocide of Palestine. but i managed to prusuade a few in the end, we went to watch it yesterday
I've left a non spoiler review in the other thread so no point getting into that. lets get into the nitty gritty details
The opening scene was great, Emran and young Katrina, it cought me off guard when he said Zoya. good start
The zoya twist being a double agent in the beginning was decent, it was giving ek tha tiger vibes
Bhai was in top shape. he looked great.
Emraan was good, loved his bad ass theme music.
the whole save the Pakistan PM and Bhai's 'in laws' dialogue was just silly.
i feel the storyline lets this film down big time. why the same old pak vs india? sure, this time it was Tiger saving Pakistan PM but it just didn't work for me. the direction was even worse. it seemed all over the place at times
i would have prefferd it if it was just a straight up revenge film. Emran's wife and baby being killed by Tiger, Emran returns and kills Tigers kid (forgot his name) and then tries to kill Zoya and Tiger. simple and effective. it would have worked.
the cameos were great.
Loved SRK's entry. the whole Pathaan/Tiger fight scene was bad ass.
Everyone missed Hrithik's cameo. they all left. we were literially the only ones that stayed and i only stayed because i saw Jess's post saying make sure you stay until the very end. it's a shame we didnt get a Tiger/Kabir scene though.
Overall it was still enjoyable. but it could have been much much better.
6/10
