When I follow my own feeling then I would reproach the makers (Aditya/YRF) that they waited how Pathaan would be accepted before taking further decisions.
They postponed Tiger 3 more than a year ago, so they already had the Spy-Universe idea...why not shoot SRK's part at that time and enhance the VFX. Eid was late April only...and the Hrithik part not being there wouldn't have made a difference. To me it comes across as a bad planning, also respective to the Sunday release (just for a record?)...
It's now mainly Salman who gets the flack...
It's not the movie - except for those who boycott it because of the PM-angle - imo it's more about circumstances that had not been in Salman's hands.
As for other actors not tweeting...I first wondered why SRK didn't but then - with all the bias and him being in the movie, too - I thought he prefered to do it in person (which he did).
do what in person ? What had Srk done to support this movie ? Srk tweeting would have brought some peace but now it’s a sign to one group that their trolling actions ok and other group more negativity towards Srk. Even TZH's figure seems tough now. This is a big blow for Salman especially in a year with three 500 crore films. YRF messed up the release date. It was stupid to release it during the WC. Salman also tarnished his image by doing movies like Dabbang 3, Radhe, and KKBKKJ.
Don't have much hopes for Salman's next with Dharma either. Karan doesn't have good script sense and Vishnuvardhan is a mediocre director. That's that I guess.
