BKAS Episode Discussion Thread #1 [DT NOTE PG 37] new ETD link pg 150 - Page 30

I am thinking this is Diwali celebration that we should see soon.

I haven’t seen the latest episode with Vaibhav yet but unfortunately, he and Mrunal are present to torment Vandu. However, I feel that the more they try to inflict pain on her, the more she will get closer to Tara and Kunal therefore creating a unique bond.

Soon, we should see an ice cream date with Vandu and Kunal. So there is some happiness ahead. I see the opportunity for a welcoming friendship to be established between the 2. I’m also hoping that Tara and Vandu will encourage Kunal to loosen up a bit and have fun considering he is sort of a “stick in the mud” or boring and uptight.

SN… the last 2 episodes with Kunal were amazing. Mohit did a superb job executing the role. It was good to see Kunal’s backstory and the pain he experienced when Soniya left him. His character has definitely grown on me and I am able to empathize with him more. It’s understandable for him to feel the way that he does after discovering he has a daughter after 7 years. His lines were realistic and anyone in his position would have had similar emotions.

I think the show has definitely gotten better - I can tolerate Vaibhav and Mrunal as long as Vandana is standing up and giving it back to them - which see seems to be doing. She will have her day in court and eventually get rid of them.

I like how Kunal and Tara's relation is shaping up - he is scared of forming a bond with her as he fears the bond breaking - very relatable - will be nice to see V give him the confidence and courage to move forward.

I have a feeling that the show is going to progress forward with K and V being the primary focus and their friendship growing stronger - Kunal is going to start accepting Tara and bonding with her more - Pammi is going to convince Kunal to marry a girl and she's going to start finding girls for him ..which is when perhaps K & V are going to realize that they are meant to be!

Would like to see something on those lines ..the story should progress quickly and they can end it once K,V and T form a family! Don't want them to drag it with unnecessary villians and such. Would also like to see Vandana become a successful singer on her own standing.

We'll see how it goes - but I'll watch until K&V hold my attention which they are for now!

Watched today's episode! and all the BTS out there - liked how Kunal's vulnerability is getting shown and how Vandana is being his pillar of strength. I hope they get the contract and I hope to see them standing up for each other - Kunal needs to take a step back and analyze his life and loosen up and I think V will help him get there - Hope we get some fun moments too - rooting for a work trip - fine if Tara and Bobby tag along too :) ..btw, no school for Tara?

I’m rooting for seeing Kunal and Vandu have a work trip as well. That would be fun to watch. And since Indra and Sonia enjoy following them everywhere they go 🙄, I would love for Sonia to have front row seats and grow jealous of their relationship since she thinks Kunal will never fall in love with anyone other than her. Sonia is going to have major regrets when she sees Vandu with the family she could have had but gave up for Indra.

It would be funny if Pammi, Bobby, and Vedika set up an online dating profile for Kunal and he matches with Vandu unknowingly 😂 on LoveAfterDivorce.com

Did Tara live in London with Sonia? Did they recently move to India? If so, maybe that could be the reason she’s not in school and out chasing balloons. The little cutie won’t be getting that chocolate Sonia had for her. Kunal made sure of that in todays episode 😂🍫.

Yes, we are definitely going to see Sonia get jealous - Indraneel is taking her for a ride - no real love there and sooner or later she's going to realize what a fool she's been. She's already been shown to have some second thoughts.

Seeing V bond with Tara is also going to upset her ..and all the more with V with K ..just hope they don't show K acting all close to V just to show Sonia. I want K and V to become really good friends that look out for each other and slowly realize "shayad yahi hai pyaar ...".

I totally like your dating profile idea!!! ..I hope they go with that for some light hearted fun. I guess for now both will run the other way from relationships tho!!

Probably Tara was in London - they haven't said explicitly but perhaps - but would be fun for her to start going to school and V and K help her with school work and such.

Need ample opportunities for V&K to spend time with each other ..late nights in the office, trips, caring for Tara ..whatever ..and high time we get a hug no?

Sadly, I think that the scenes we have been getting with V&K are supposed to be those opportunities for the viewers to see their bond developing or some sort of attraction between the two begin and if so, it’s not working🫣. Everyone thinks that there is something going on between V&K except the viewers😂. Mrunal, Vaibhav, & Indranil are convinced that something is happening but I don’t think the viewers are noticing it. It’s still a boss and assistant relationship. We see no friendship developing. Therefore a romance relationship is far from happening.

In today’s epi, Kunal saves Vandu from falling and they have a moment where they look at each other but it’s far from dreamy or romantic. It just looks like her boss is helping her and she is surprised to see him. Vaibhav seems to think it’s romance😂.

And Kunal’s flashbacks of Indranil while choking Vaibhav was not helpful if writers are trying to form the V&K bond. Now it just looks like he only choked Vaibhav because her situation reminds him of his and he didnt care about what Vaibhav said to Vandu to hurt her. Their quiet ride home is awkward with the background music. They both just seem really upset about their situations. Kunal doesn’t appear to care about what has happened to her and Vandu doesn’t seem to be appreciative that he showed up. The two just seem to be exhausted from their day and their relationships.

Very rightly said. My thoughts exactly! Like what even does Vaibhav find romantic between V&K. As audience we see a purely boss/assistant relationship - Perhaps they want to take it slowly but even so they can still give us a deeper connection - and yes i hated that Kunal had flashbacks of sonia and indro while choking Vaibhav - I guess at this point they really have no feelings for each other and each is going through a lot in their respective lives - it's realistic but not the dreamy stuff you hope to see on television :)

Would have wanted to see Kunal suggesting that they celebrate their success and take V and Bobby for coffee - Bobby takes off for some commitment and v&k are left to each other - some cute moments on the type of coffee each one likes - the coffee guy referring to K as v's husband while taking the order and the rest of the day could have been spent talking in a friendly way about each other and perhaps some sort of friendly hug - The V choking with flashbacks of sonia didn't work for me either! ..though that split second of eye contact during K catching V scene was good!

It might be too early in the storyline for them to fall in love, but some sort of physical attraction from K's side and some forced situations of proximity and sexual tension would really help increase TRP!
