I don’t think Ushna is expecting every celebrity to speak out about everything but the reason she probably called out Emma is because Emma is a human rights advocates so she expects her to speak about human right violations. Emma has stood by Palestine in the past so I’m not holding that against her but it’s the same reason people wanted Angelina Jolie to say something because that’s their brand .
Ushna hasn’t said anything about Indian celebrities so I don’t know about that .
She could have simply called out then na..it's childish comparison to bring Emma's acting into it.
Ushna also speaks for minority rights in Pak not denying it but did her other colleagues in her industry spoken with same energy or did anyone of them ever spoke about 26/11, pulwama or the numerous bomb blasts that used to happen before 26/11 ?
Even for Bilal or Sajal have never seen opening their mouth for minorities getting killed in their own country...but today they feel bad for Palestinians which is obviously normal, not denying. What Israel has done is horrific..but why always selective criticism in that case.
Atleast Indian actors like Parvathy, swara & many ott actors like sheeba chaddha, Rashmi agdekar, etc are calling out Israel & asking for ceasefire.
Even Priyanka called for ceasefire but still she is receiving hate...
Atleast our actors are trying to raise voice & actually not doing selective criticism considering the fact this is not about the present situation but it goes back to many many years & has lot of layers to it...

this is the stupidest thing I have read so far..whatever is happening in Israel and Palestine is very sad and tragic..since innocent lives and especially children are being targeted from both sides..but not everyone has to have an opinion on everything..geo political conflicts and wars are there in almost every continent at this point..just the way we dont expect Pakistani celebs to condemn a 26/11 for eg,..they shouldnt expect everyone to condemn Palestine-Israel situation either..
