Not sure if this is against the rules or if this is the right place to post this. But I was trying to go through the other thread to atleast see what the argument in support of Israel is. And to see a genocidal conflict being treated as a sports match and the argument effectively boiling down to 'the victims are of the wrong religion so their deaths are well deserved' is genuinely horrifying. I am going to f off from here now.

Just like Israel made up lies about Hamas to flatten Gaza and kill thousands of innocent Palestinians.

These people are channeling their hatred for Muslims in general to celebrate massacre of babies.

It’s horrifying to the core. There is no intellectually honest defense of Israel presented. No evidence provided. Just a bunch of unhinged attacks centered around religious hatred. Complete cesspool.

But here at least some Desis in the public eye have a conscience.

I am sorry you had to read that. It is absolutely horrifying. These people forget that there are millions of Indians who live and work in the Middle East too. The whole world is reading their messages.

Especially now that Zionists want Indians to replace the lost Palestinian labor force in Israel, wonder what the general consensus will transition into. I don’t think it will change. They’ll just experience mass cognitive dissonance.

When Zionists inevitably perpetuate the same oppression and violence against Indian workers, I wonder what mental gymnastics they will undergo to convince themselves of Israel’s “inherent goodness”. I’m thinking silence will ensue just as it did/does with the Manipur conflict, just as it does with caste based violence against lower caste Hindus.

It takes vicious levels of antipathy to not just support this intensity of state led genocide but also laugh at massacred victims.

It is absolutely disgusting. Most forget that you reap what you sow.

“I do not wish to begin by “taking sides”; nor indeed to end by “taking sides.” I am sick of “sides”; which is to say, I am sick of war; of wars hot and cold; and all their approximations and metaphors and deceits and ideological ruses. I am sick of the betrayal of the mind and the failure of compassion and the neglect of the poor. I am sick of foreign ministers and all their works and pomps. I am sick of torture and secret police and the apparatus of fascists and the rhetoric of leftists. Like Lazarus, staggering from his grave, or the ghost of Trotsky I can only groan: “We have had enough of that, we have been through all that.” DANIEL BERRIGAN

From Kerala Chief Minister @pinarayivijayan's speech addressing the Palestine solidarity rally today at Kozhikode:"The ongoing brutal genocide against Palestinians must be stopped. The entire world wants an immediate ceasefire and the end to Israeli occupation. This isn't a war; it's a systematic ethnic cleansing met with resilient resistance.""The people of India with a conscience have always stood by the Palestinians who've been fighting for their land and sacrificing their lives to reclaim it from occupiers. The Left resolutely affirms solidarity with Palestine. We have always said this, we say it now and we will say it tomorrow too.""India's historical support for Palestine and its enduring struggle for freedom has been unwavering. This steadfast commitment traces back to our freedom struggle, continued through Nehru's era and persisted until Narasimha Rao's time, which marked a notable shift towards recognising Israel under US influence. The current BJP government has taken this to the next level and made India into an imperialist ally.""We know who heads the Indian govt. It is the RSS who were inspired by Hitler's Nazism and Mussolini's fascism. Zionism is a very similar movement. So, it is natural that RSS, and thereby the BJP govt, have a strong Zionist bias. And this is why India, once known for its anti-imperialist stance, shamefully abstained from the UN resolution that called for a ceasefire in Gaza.""Our solidarity is towards Palestine. We want to tell the world that the ruling BJP's position of supporting Israel is not India's stand. India needs to stop military and defence contracts with Israel. India is used as a weapon against Palestine by Israel.""Today, Palestinians worldwide commemorate the revolutionary legacy of Yasser Arafat, the former PLO Chairman. We offer our tributes to him by holding this rally today."

Reminder that your boycotting and calling out politicians is working because just days ago, the same Macron was trying to ban pro-Palestine protests across the country

Love the French for being vocal and making their opinions known to the President smiley41
