It is a joke. We are trolling the Sns scene where they tried to present it as romance.

And yes it is embarrassing, the bgm and expressions make it clear. None of us sane ones thinks it is even slightly romantic , even makers (based on this clip only) see it as funny scene only.

I am pretty sure it is not ex lover. No interpretation, Sahiba isn't helping, Seerat might be doing jasoosi on Angad Sahiba, I actually saw only 2 scenes on insta today so idk really, could be anybody. Can't comment.
