I once again ask someone to copy paste the Henry Cavill gif about Wikipedia.

FYI for who needs to know this, you should only use Wikipedia and Brittanica for surface level information so you can have a starting point to do in depth research on a subject. They are not considered credible in any setting. Certainly not in an argument or academia.

Yeah, I should just quote this short or use the gif next time.

The Guardian leans left and aligns itself with left-wing thought and/or policy agendas. Disparaging Britannica while promoting The Guardian is akin to trolling. What next? Scholarly HuffPost articles? Critically assessed journals by experts from Mother Jones? smiley36

The wiki page I posted also mentions about the violations done by Israel and the areas occupied by them..if u opened the page and read.

If u have read my earlier post I wrote who knows or who can decide who owns the land.. History of Palestine is so unique and tumultuous. No where did I mention that Israel has the rights..or even Palestine.

A compromise is the solution..who compromises more is to be seen

How convenient of you to ignore everything else in the post about countless human rights and Geneva convention violations from Israel sourced from UN. FYI, the Guardian article was only to point that the supreme leader of Israel had rejected the 1967 borders and made Obama back track on his words way back in 2011.

Can't argue with the selectively blind janta on this forum, anyway. Well, at least I should be thankful that you didn't belt a history lesson this time from Britannica. Few joys of life.

It is not tumultuous at all. It is pretty straight forward. If you take out the decades of oppression, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and genocide done by Israel, it's pretty clear what needs to be done. It's made out to be tumultuous so the clear answer that was proposed way back in 1948 never sees the light of the day. Lucky for Israel that it's Zionist project aligned clearly with the imperialist notions of the West. It's got a safe haven in the US, so much so that Trump had put financial sanctions and revoked visas of senior advocates of ICC in 2020 just for suggesting that Israel's war crimes must be "investigated". Compromise cannot be reached when one side is hell bent on eradicating an ethnic group. The genocide in Gaza has officially entered the second phase now that are people are at the risk of dying from starvation and dehydration.

Anyway, I'm not beefing with you. I only gave sources since you said you didn't know what to trust and what not to.

Proverbial "pot calling the kettle black"!

What's recorded in history and hence an incontrovertible "common knowledge" is that in all the wars / military conflicts between Israeli forces and various Arab forces starting way back in 1948–49 Israel was not the aggressor on at least 5 out of 6 occasions. No amount of spin can dispute that. hence the broad-based support for Israel even if some of the developed / developing nations allow for peaceful protests against Israel in the name of freedom of expression.

Cite your sources. Pulling ribbons out of your hat to push personal narratives as the gospel truth is NOT considered common knowledge.

Ohophelia has posted credible sources to back her claims on this thread unlike you who thinks typing out three sentences on India-forums is enough.

I gave my explanation a while ago (using many more than 3 sentences, matter of fact, around 40 sentences) here:

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/current-affairs/5340609/how-did-muslims-come-to-live-in-israel?pn=6

My source is this: https://www.britannica.com/event/Arab-Israeli-wars

FYI, secondary sources such as encyclopedias are considered general knowledge or common knowledge, hence the quotation around that phrase in my previous comment .

Some of the Christian Palestinians living there can trace back their lineage to the first disciples of Jesus Christ. They worship in churches that are demolished by the IDF that are some of the oldest in the world dating back to pre- Israel. These are people who are attached to their homeland, like you and I. If a bigger state with military capability were to oust from your home, occupation, and the life you have built in your land tomorrow, would you go to a neighbouring country because they are taking you like an immigrant with no rights and livelihood? Cultural and Blood lines through States and homes are not privy to easy solutions. I'm sure the Jewish population can also be shifted to parts of Europe. All the countries that are so wholeheartedly supporting Israel can take on the illegal settlers occupying West Bank and Gaza right now. But no one seems to suggest that. Why?

First of all how many palestanian christians are there in gaza at the moment? Are there numbers more than hindus in pakistan who are being driven out, converted, and killed as we speak? There is a topic on the condition of pakistani hindus but you are here still worrying about christians in a month old war where people from your own community have been suffering for more than 75 years. I dont see you making a single commnet on pakistanis/muslims carrying out genocide of its minoriries, hindus especially. Why you think hindus dont deserve your sympathy? smiley1...i remeber how you claimed to be a hindu recently, beofre coming out in full suppprt of hamas initiated war?

Second of all, israel is acting in self defence in this war ...so if you are really concerend about few left over christians getting hurt in the process, you need to direct your anger and frustration towards hamas and his suppporters. They are answerable to your grievances about the commhnity you so much care about.

Palestanian muslims want complete annihilation of israel who is providing them water, electricity, employment and other amenities and these people in turn keep attacking them.

There can absolutely no justification for terrorism and rapes in a civilized society. What palestanians did is inhuman and they deserve the treatment israel is givng them. You simply cant justify horrors of 7nth october by making a few christians as victims of israeli oppression. I get where you are coming from though. I completely understand why.

As for bloodlines, palestanian muslims have a corrupt bloodline. They lost their rights to the land when they backstabed their own blood brothers by siding with islamic invaders in carrying out genocide of natives and their culture. They adopted everything about islamic invaders and now about time, they get adopted by the countires where these invaders came from. All the loot they sent back to their countries could be spent on these converts who need it the most in current situation. Hopefully, they will also be welcomed as refugees just as generously as they welcomed those invaders into their own land to loot, rape and kill their own "Blood Brothers"
