Armaan is striving to be the perfect son, grandson, brother , lawyer, etc..to make his family super proud of him,.because he obviously craves their acceptance and love for some reason.. granny loves rohit more than him..it’s obvious. His father and mother seem normal. So don’t know what the story is. Is he illegitimate or adopted or the son from his fathers first marriage., his father seems like a honest policeman. The uncle ..father’s brother in law seems like a corrupt lawyer..doesn’t care about right or wrong..just about money and power.the granny likes this son in law more than her honest policeman son. Armaan as well talks back to his father ..so I’m,sure abhira after marriage will get on well with the father in law because she’s also got a good heart and wants to help poor people get justice. I hope there’s a good Balance of postive and negative people in that podaar family. There needs to be people on abhiras side. Ghum 2 has got a good balance. .. ghum 2 has got everything right .’hope yrkkh takes some tips from them. Ghum 2 family is fun to watch..

Don't know what Armaan's past is. If he was the illegitimate son, then shouldn't the wife be at least upset with him. Instead, she seems very proud of him and wants Rohit to be like him too. And if he's the child from first wife, why would he be treated any differently by dadi? It is so confusing.

I think Abhira will have Armaan's father, Rohit and all the cousins on her side. While Armaan's dadi, mother, that shady phuphaji and chachi will be against her. Chachaji and bua might be neutral. If they go this way, there will be a balance. But all this will depend on Armaan's character. I hope he will be a mix of Naitik, Karthik and Abhinav and not at all like Abhimanyu.
