Exactly.... it's not that it is not emotional but both offscreen and onscreen it has become a mess. I don't follow much offscreen but I can understand his pain given he put his soul into playing Abhimanyu especially the redemption arc. To turn out like this must be hard for him. But he must have realised it when he didn't extend the contract. Because onscreen, it became down right hateful.
to see a character like Abhi going through what he did. The way he picked himself up everytime and held on every single time with belief in goodness and in his ability to make things right for his loved ones. Even in the scenes where he was made a doormat, there was dignity about him that was not there in any character. It's best that he is ending or has ended. Sometimes when things come to dead end we have to let it go but Abhi in love was never made like that. He was made to love someone with all consuming passion and devotion. Such a characteristic should be celebrated not insulted. But every other family member did just that. Insult him all the time, his love, care and never really understood his pain. It is good he is going. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
I will cry for sure but I am happy finally. I wanted this closure. He will be at peace and probably reunite with his real Akshu later đđđ
So true!!! Abhi deserved better! His admirers deserved better! HC deserved better! His fans deserved so much better!
It hurts when people call Abhi names and describe his traits evilly, when he is the only character who has stron sense of individuality, whose journey in the story had an arc, a growth, who had changed for better, holding on to his dignity and strengths, who was still recognizable(for the most part) and whose core positive traits had been preserved...
People have made his redemption a bottomless pit, kuch bhi karo, kitna bhi karo, kabhi dil bharta hi nahin ... log satiate hi nahin hote.. ab bhi log nahin maante, not even when he has left his maa, ghar chod diya, Ruh ko chod dega, hospital and career ka khayal nahin karta, when all he has become is her yes-man with his zombie-like existence.... still people hesitantly hand out drops of redemption like alms..... but mere liye tho, his so called redemption happened many many many months ago... when he apologized for Sirat maa's comment! HE WAS WRONG, that was a hit below the belt and he apologized for it... and he did it at the first chance he got! Like it had been eating him all those years, that he had said something that MEAN to Akshu, knowing that she had opened her heart and confided in him, her childhood pain... it had been the most sensitive and fragile part of her heart and he knew that his rude comment would hit her there and hurt her the most... and he still said that, in uncontrollable anger, just to hurt her...So he with all sincerity, apologized to her!
And for everything else that had ever happened in his whole life, he alone cannot be held responsible... and IMO rightfully, he shouldn't take the blame alone!! Every single time there was chaos and mess, there were others too who were involved...... either they started it(AK), they added fire to it(Goenkas), they escalated it(Birlas), so they were others too who were guilty... probably more than Abhi.....who were never dehumanized like Abhi was, who never got targeted by the audience, who never regretted, who never had to feel or say sorry, ... they conveniently let themselves slide and slyly the audience let them slide too...
Abhi was always targeted for his traits...I know ab in sab baaton se koi matlab nahin, koi faida nahin hai, kuch nahin badlega, but Abhi remains the most misunderstood character I know... like you said, he needs to be celebrated, not berated!
We are all different and will have different opinions, but this is what I feel about Dr. Abhimanyu Birla! Aur, HC ke alawa koi nahin hai jo itne complex character ko aise play kar saktha hai! Period.
