Tell me about it. I was absolutely ok with the last 2 episodes and I was kinda glad that the story had begun to gain some momentum but then with today’s it seemed to backtrack. They just rehashed the same scenes n Ayra’s family scenes with that clown were also so redundant. I just ended up skipping all of Ayra n her family scenes(as always).

I totally understand what Z n Mub are trying to do- Z is not a party person and the fact that he attended Mub’s friends party to provoke her( he is someone who refused to even attend Mub’s anniversary)shows how desperate he is to get her out of his life..more so after knowing what she’s doing with Kashmala. He finds her tactics so cheap but he doesn’t realize that he is also resorting to something similar. This is such a vicious circle! They are all targeting one another without considering the consequences of their choices. They are all narcissists of different order - while Mub is a grandiose narcissist (her lack of empathy n need to belittle n exploit others) , Z is a covert narcissist (who’s always presenting himself as a victim n is passive-aggressive).

Sadly,Mub is a person with bipolar disorder (her manic outbursts were a lil OTT today I think but I don’t wanna comment on that because I’ve never seen these people in close quarters, maybe this is how they behave) who also exhibits narcissistic behavior.

I liked Zaid’s responses to his dad. Asif is trying hard ,but Z won’t budge.

My only Q to the prod team is that ur writer has penned such complex layered characters n how on earth did u choose Badar to lead this project? The execution at the restaurant was bad imo. The director n the editor’s inadequacy in not letting the crucial scenes sit for a bit is just deflating the buildup/impact of those scenes. N for Christ’s sake Mub, pls drop the Jaffar dialogue..lol

The answer is given by mj's father Jafer. he asked MJ what's missing in her that Zaid doesn't want her. Thats how society feels. MJ might have gotten sympathy if she divorced the first husband for his cheating. But now after getting "dumped" by first husband, no matter what happens if MJ is divorced , only she will be blamed.

At face value she won't gain anything by getting out. But she will be getting peace which is what she needs and space away from this society. I don't understand why her father is not sending her to US or some other place, where she can get treated without discrimination?

The dads bit is the only interesting thing... Kashmala had a point... Like id be angry too if dragged out of home... As long as threats are given it was fine... Now she is getting involved in the power struggle games but problem with such double marriage is a little turbulence can be handled but her brother not giving a damn at all is definitely gonna affect her marriage even if rayan don't give a shit about his sister

Rayans character arc looks damn interesting at present... He hasn't even called his wife... Doesn't he care even that much or does he care too much for mubashira... He undeerstands his sister better than the father I think...

Agreed about problems in production. That scene from the restaurant especially Zaid and MJ’s face-off deserved more attention. It feels like Ayra and her family scenes are getting more focus.

I agree.

And I also think some Narcissists are very childish but much more skilled at manipulation. They think only about themselves, still assuming that the world revolves around them and their wants and needs, like a child. I so want Mub to take control over her life but I dont see it happening anytime soon. To gain control over her life, she's got to face her demons first- starting with forgiving and forgetting her mom's betrayal and self-reflect n try to find some peace within herself.
