Do u really trusted Anirudh's words?? I mean really?? That man was after Viaan's reputation and his company's downfall .Whenever Katha would have reached out to him he would have agreed.We have seen Anirudh's desperation to see Viaan's downfall...the man is such a lunatic that he didn't even spare Katha in the conference and tried to make her embarrassed by making her fall as she was EC's strength and a rock solid support to Viaan. That one day offer was just a medium of pressuring her to accept the offer then and there so that she doesn't try to get the money from other ways.Katha accepting Viaan's offer...I see her decision to be an impulsive one which was accepted out of panic of loosing Aarav.And still now she is doing the same thing.Taking certain decision which are impulsive and out of panic .Originally posted by: abca19510
When Aniruddha gave her the offer, she didn't take it because of associated legal repercussions and also, she had hopes she has some other ways to arrange for money which are ethical (like crowdfunding) . Aarav not on deathbed at that time. Aniruddha also said another thing that the offer was valid for that day only. So, Katha didn't have the option to go back to Aniruddh when Viaan gave her that offer. When Viaan gave her that offer Aarav was on deathbed which made the situation emergency.
Also, she didn't want to lose this second chance life threw at her, which again asks her to abandon her moral grounds in exchange of life of her son. Last time Aniruddha gave her this chance did it and this time, it was Viaan. Life isn't gonna give her this chance again. Even if the cost is something invaluable to you - Your moral grounds, she was ready to accept it and pay the price.

Not for me. Katha taking a bribe is much better than sleeping with her boss anytime if she has the option to do so. When Aarav was in deathbed, she didn't have that other option. Sorry if my comments made you feel like that, that was not my implication.
The scene to get insurance money for her life was her desperate measure. Suicide attempt is one of those desperate measure. Such desparate measures never solve the problem but human brain interprets it as a solution to their problems. Its good that insurance agent brought her back to senses and worked like a suicide help line guy. We can't say if she was actually serious about it or not as it wasn't shown.
P.S. for some reason IF thinks 'help line' (written togather) is abusive

Really?! I would say spending one night with the boss in exchange for money, is better than spending years in jail, getting blacklisted in the industry AND leaving behind a small kid who just recovered from cancer. Lesser of the two evils imo.

I think it in a very different way.If Aarav gets to know about his mom sleeping with someone whom she disliked.....think about the repercussions??
