I remember there was a time when Alia was projecting herself as a the hottest property in BW and KJO even called her female Emran Hashmi..basically she even wanted the cold and calculated chic status that DP had..of using and throwing the people she slept around with..

But I very clearly remember DP’s rep was not great during 2006-09.

I was in teen in school at the time but I remember clearly the links and very serious rumours. Comedy shows were having a time making jokes about her and the cricketers.

There was quite a popular news going round of Yuvi landing on Bachna ae Haseeno’s set in Australian because her rumours with RK were getting very strong. Not so long after that her and RK were confirmed to be together.

If all that with Nihar is true I hope he has healed and in a better place now emotionally.

I’m guessing some were too young to remember all the news during 2006-2009. I myself was still in school but remember it all quite clearly.
She has had a complete turnaround with success and growth as a star.

Since it is reddit, obviously need to take it with a pinch of salt.

However, Nihar has been very vocal about their live in relatipnship and how she dumped him for RK!

Moreover, the thing with Sid is very publicized and well known too.

And the same DP went on KWK, and declared she is too traditional for live in. It is a good thing that her lies are coming out

Also, I would not call her narcissist. Opportunist yes. And honestly one has to be to survive in BW! What is funnier is how her fans would go to lengths to deny all these and call everyone a shamer while do the same shaming to others! Lol

I believe Deepika is a narcissist . The way she boasts Ranveer singh appreciates the amount of money she earns, reveals her egotistical nature. @bold, well he was until he cheated on her with then famous Kat. Well, DP was well used to the fast dating world of BW before RK. She dumped Nihar with whom she shared a household for 3 years, the moment any opportunity with RK arrived. I am not gonna go into her love tryst with Yuvraj and Dhoni as the timeline is confusing, but Yuvraj did express that he was dumped for RK. So, DP knew how dating & dumping for the bigger prize worked. The only difference in RK's instance was that she was the who was made to feel not wanted that too against Kat who was a bigger star then. Until RK, she was the one who was used to do the dumping and moving on to the next big fish. It obviously took a big hit to her ego and existence. RK did not promise her saat janmo ka saath or otherwise he would have put a ring on it. And they were very young and just starting out their careers! But in DP's eyes the prize was so big that she went ahead and tattooed his name without any long-term commitment.

One should be able to feel the humiliation and anger and hurt she must have felt and when she first experienced rejection as she was the one who used to dish that out but never take. That explains her years of obsession or longing or revenge, whatever you wanna call it, despite RS being there as her side di&k all these years.
