Ravinder: "don't understand how people can claim Root to be an ODI great. He's been playing since 2013 with just 16 hundreds and 6400 runs"

Renn: "If Pak can bat out the overs, they can still win this. SA's collapse against Ned shows that they have vulnerabilities in chasing. But first, Pak need to keep their heads and avoid a collapse of their own."

SA is very poor at chasing especially if ballers do well

Mayur: "The major reason behind Pakistan's WC woes are not their batting but bowling. Historically, Pakistan always have batted just about OK in global tournaments but their bowlers define how their campaign pans out. There was a reason why they were never defeated once they cross 275 until Afghanistan happened! This time, they don't have good spinners or the fast bowlers with form. Their WC highlights have always been bowlers which as been missing, and as a result they are struggling. "

Aqeel: "I think Pakistan tried to change their natural game, trying to pace up the batting and failing miserably. They should have stuck to scoring decent totals and rely on the bowling unit. But they gave up their game as well as could not learn the other technique properly."

Shyam: "Babar Azam has failed to score big in major tournaments so far. If he needs to get in the league of Root, KW, Kohli or Rohit, he needs to score tough runs. Most of his big 100s have come in Pak or UAE where bowlers have very little help. "
