Yeah, this is what I read too. At first I thought it was a crime solving drama series.. but then read that this Bengali show is a romantic thriller drama.. which means that the ML and FL will be paired together..
Hopefully it lives up to its Bengali counterpart. Hindi shows have a tendency to mess up story lines for trp.

Edit- I hope her dues with Zee have been paid off.. To do a show again with Zee now would otherwise be rather generous.
They will surely mess up the story. Can only hope it will be as less as possible. That brief synopsis does look interesting - in fact sounds more like a Sony show than a Zee one.
Hope they concentrate more on 'on field' operations rather than family dramas. Going through the cast of the Bengali show, seems like FL's ex-bf is ML's half brother and also a crime syndicate head. But this seems to be something that comes up way late in the show. So, the usual family angle does exist.
Overall impression i have is it looks like an interesting storyline, but keeping my expectations low, esp after watching Shabir's RM. There are dozens of unknown and as yet uncharted ways in which they can mess up with the story.

Fully agree on everything.. no hopes on anything. I wonder which show will they ax for KMTMG to air on.. either that saas bahu show or something else..
according to the article Raluca posted, Sriti mentions that her and Arjit’s character are different natured and how they come together will form the story in the show.. she didn’t mention crime head, more details will be disclosed in the near future.
Don’t know zilch about Shabbir’s show, so no comment on that. Plus looks like the Bhagyas are doing well.. plus there are some others that have stabilised, plus a few new shows look a little shaky for now. Let’s see.
Good to know Sriti is soon coming back as fiction TV female lead after about 2 years gap. Wish her new producer Mukta gets signed with some other hindi channel for this launch, instead of Z & let it be finite series pls.
While few spoilers said it's remake of Bengali ongoing serial Jagadhatri (which also got remade to Telugu etc.) Sriti's IV & mock shoot pics/clips floating around doesn't hint so. All the best anyhow.
Zee has stiff budgets, nor proper time slot management to launch new serials, nor accountable, brainy & flexible creative/programming teams who are able to bring out relatable yet novel concepts regularly to attract prime audiences in their serial tracks. 
Both 2023 new launches SS & Kyunki on Z are not in par in terms of writing, execution nor character connectivity though promos are well shot & catchy.
Already two more new serials are waiting in wing for launch date & free time slots on Z last couple months as BT three ongoing Bhagya's are still untouched. So not sure where Mukta's serial can fit.
Viewers like me who used to be once upon so regular in following/watching variety of Z serials, hardly tune to that channel in 2023 other than randomly checking few clips & promos here and there.
There are many such lost viewers across country.
Also Z merger MOU with Sony group was inked way back in 2021, we are in 2023 last quarter still Z management & founders are fighting legal battles delaying merger closure further. So this uncertainty to revamp, rebrand & invest more budgets into Z hindi channel with rehashed management team is still continuing.
