That I am not sure . TOI article has mentioned that leap will be expected to happen either Dec or Nov end. It all depends on the time they take for casting ppl for the role. There is a high chance they would drag Gen 3 a bit more

What I meant was gen 4 part. In that article, RS himself, has confirmed that she has been cast for new season not the current season.

Let's see what happens

Gen 3 will go on for another month…because they need to,focus on a very important character ..baby sharma..gen 4 heroine. They need to show her birth and her grow up to at least a few years…this always happens in yrkkh because the audience needs to connect with her before she enters adulthood and the new season starts. Abhiras story is over..and as abhimanyu is not her biological father…he’s no longer needed in the story..that’s why his character will end soon. And then we will see her with her mother for a few weeks.. in gen 2 as well karthik exited like 2 or 3 weeks before gen 3 started even though he was the biological father of the 2 girls. For the last 2 or 3 weeks the focus had been on young akshara and Arohi and their personalities were shown.’ Their mother Sirat remained with them until the last episode of gen 2.
