Did Rocky aur Rani underperform at the b.o.? - Page 5

A film is a hit for stars, if they get many more offers to do similar roles/films.

Why do we care if producers/distributors are making money. It is their BUSINESS.

But i saw it being a huge hit on instagram..every other reel/ meme is on Rocky Randhawa..especially after it released on Prime...I think a lot more people watched it on OTT and realized what a gem of a movie it is..also the entire first half has tremendous repeat value..especially when Rocky meets Rani for the first time..I cant tell you how many times I have also the actor playing Vicky is also hilarious and excellent and Rocky's monologue about cancel culture Yes it underperformed in India..but atleast in UK, everyone I know, has watched it and loved it.

I loved the movie too! It was full on entertaining and layered too!

It is Kjo's slow and steady climb down to nothing.He has made beti co-produce her latest film Jigra

Which reminds me that Alia's career is like those writers who self publish their books(with Dad's help) and claim that they are biggest authors ever.

It has been 11years..and he couldn't make Alia stand on her own feet.RRPK didn't help, inspite of his best efforts.

So yes RRKP failed on all counts..On top of it KJo's paid bots themselves were calling him out for bulk bookings.

Brahmastra made money,TJMM made money,RRKP made money. Maybe ..maybe not. The business end is of little help to the stars.The exhibitors may have made profit in some areas,The distributors may have struck a good deal somewhere else, the producer might have recovered his investment from selling music rights/OTT rights. We are not business analysts. Fans are interested in what that film can do for their idols' careers.

With RRPK..nothing for anyone.What work they get in the future, will be based on their earlier efforts.
