For me..this generation will be known for Abhis unreal love for Akshara which never faded away even after so many ups and downs..HC acting made many viewers stick to it even after pathetic story..it's power of HC acting that even after writers tried their best to show FL as victim and ML as villian most people rooted for Abhi as a father fighting for his kid. Season 3 belongs to HC hands down at least for me

Especially since the kasauli track, she comes across as opportunistic, shallow, and borderline vile to Abhimanyu. The way she made sure to erase Abhi from his own sons life just because he didn't take a phone call was so cruel. It's something OG Akshara or even Naira would've ever done. This Akshu is such a disgrace to the previous generations.

They really should've brought another female lead for Abhimanyu instead of this half-baked reunion . No one gave a damn about Kasauli ki rani and her tantrums post leap when her callousness was out in the open.

(And now for Acha Aadmi, they're even doing away with Abhir. Shahi's biasness & favoritism is horrifying).

Harshad truly deserved a better story and a better FL. I wish he'll get a good show soon. It's sad that Abhimanyu became the most tragic character of yrkkh. He didn't deserve it.

Adios Harshad, you're the only reason I started watching gen 3 and still follow it. You portrayed Abhi with so much passion and finesse. Hope to see you in an amazing show soon.

OG Akshaar would never have married someone like Abhimanyu in the first place. She had enough brains to never fall for a someone so twisted

OG Akshara had an arranged marriage , she said Ok to the groom her family chose. Khud ka choice nahi tha.

Though one thing I'm sure is she would've never ever given away Naitik's right as a father to a random nobody she found on the bus. Never. She had enough strength in her to raise a child on her own. She wouldn't need a "fatherji " to raise her child.

I know Naksh had an arranged marriage, but even then there was a whole sequence of What does Akshara want? Naitik wanted Akshara to have that choice and he gave it to her. She married him because she wanted to. Toh uska khudka choice bhi Naitik hi tha

Abhimanyu ko toh na Maheshwari na AKshara khud kabhi choose karti

Also, Naitika and Abhimanyu are not the same. Naitik did not treat Akshara like shit unlike certain someone

It's convenient to try and put Akshu down by comparing her to her predecessor. But just like Akshu can never be Akshara, Abhimanyu can never be Naitik either

Abhimanyu toh agar Naitik ka 40% bhi ban jaata toh bahut badi baat hoti

OG Naitik was sulking and didn't speak to Akshara or maybe didn't sleep with her because her proposal was rejected by his cousin, he didn't deem her "good" enough because his cousin rejected her, the idea that a woman is somehow lesser than what she was because of a rejected proposal made me dislike him so much, the whole thought process is extremely regressive and sexist. 🤦‍♀️

It was such a shallow character but it worked because that's how most men behave in India so people don't really see a problem with it

Lol. Naitik did not ever think less of Akshara or that she was not worthy of him. He was jealous that Akshara had another choice in her life, before him. While for him she was first

It was a 19-year-old boy feeling insecure about himself, which was immature of him.

Naitik had a great many flaws. He was bratty, short-tempered, and insecure. But Naitik learned from his mistake

He told people off constantly including his own mother for Akshara

He stood for his wife through everything.

He left his family, his home, and everything else behind just to provide a healthy environment to his wife and kids

That is not what a shallow character is

That is what we call a well-rounded character. Someone who had a character growth. Who changed, and matured as a person over the course of the story.

Exactly Naitik was a very problematic male lead. But the time when the show was aired, such heroes were the norm and considered acha aadmis. And OG Akshara was conditioned to be a good bahu and wife no matter what. She was married off at 18 or 19 years, it took years and lots of experiences for her personality to be shaped into a better version. Even then, the then 18-19 year old Akshara would've never given fatherji title to a random nobody she met on a bus. She definitely had more sense .

So, I do not understand Rishta 1 because I don't worship the ground Abhimanyu Birla walks on. wah smiley36

I am not justifying Akshara. All I am saying is that you can't compare Akshu and Abhimanyu with previous-gen leads. Agar Akshu Sr Akshara nahi haa, Toh Abhimanyu bhi Naitik nahi haa.

Naitik was a problematic lead even though he constantly tried to better himself and somehow Abhimanyu Birla was not. Even though the latter divorced his wife a few hours after she went through a traumatic incident. Please make that make sense
