Today epi started with mimi giving akshu naira dupatta, abhira have conversation about it and reflect how their childhood made them who they are today.

Later they had sangeet dance practice, the choreographer taunted abhira that they are behaving like oldies and that manish-swarna have more chemistry then them. In that moment abhi ki akshu returned and then they did a dance to shock to choreographer.

Then aaru was again harassed by mama and ffed the part akshu is starting to doubt that aarohi is hiding something.

Then mehendi started, akshu entry was pretty and abhi was mesmerized by her.

Nisha, Well put about aaru’s situation. It’s very hard to take a stand in such cases. There is always a fear that the society will blame the victim. And the perpetrator might conveniently deny it making the victim seem like a liar.

horrible isnt it. No matter how independent or strong you are, it is never easy to stand up against a family member. I actually thought the actor who played mamaji did very well. Its not easy to do such roles. He looked so creepy.

I am glad they are not dragging it and closing it off tomorrow. Although I wonder the purpose of this. I hope they dont suddenly shift their focus on finding a dulha for AaRUE, that would defeat the purpose of showing a girl standing against a molester.

Valentine’s Day- Abhi reads Naira’s diary and gives her a mother-daughter Valentine’s Day event that Naira always wanted to give Akashu.

Some of the sarees Akshu wore for Abhi- she always told Abhi that it belong to Naira .

Abhira 2.0-

Remember Arohi wanted to alter Naira’s dress and Akshu was upset about it. Abhi saw the dress with Arohi at the store and he recognized it was Naira’s - and stole the dress and sent it to Akshu with a letter saying he knows how important it is for her.

So like this version Abhira also continued their deep convos about Naira mom.

Ak's monologue about Naira and Abhi appearing there did seem completely random. They are trying to do some forced deeper conversations so they can say this marriage is built with a stronger base basically. Like last time, all of Ak's trauma was communicated to Abhi through Kairav. This time they are directly talking about their childhood and everything so able to form those bonds of understanding directly.

Lol compare this to Nav where I doubt she even mentioned anything about Naira or Kartik.

Then we go to the sangeet prep and that dance teacher was so obnoxious! Giving Abhira and esp Akshu to be like dikha denge. Also PR saying we still look like college students, like yeah you do. HC def looks 30 something. The dance was fun, non romantic basically. I don't think they want to do too many romantic things cause they have to show this be a slow transition. They still had chemistry but neither wanted to have eye contact or anything to trigger any emotions.

The mehendi entry was done beautifully. Abhi was actually laughing properly in the beginning. Kitne dino bad dekha yeh. Then Ak's entry was also done so well by Ruhi and Shivu on her sides. Abhir was with Abhi also dumbstruck by his mom. He probably never thought she can look that good cause she put in soo much effort to look bad in Kasauli. Abhi couldn't stop himself and mann hi mann he sayed "oye". Immediately Akshu looked up like she heard something. Then she was staring at him, like trying to figure out. So basically theere theere they are restarting their mind connects. Abhi looked surprised that why is she looking like she heard me. Then he tried to mask it with a smile, and Ak just kept staring at him.

They both got sat down for mehendi together. Abhir Ruhi said mehendi will be done with mor phanks and both Abhira got flashbacks of their mor phank romance in Jaipur mask festival. They both got awkward and embarrassed about it.

Precap same nonsense. Oh! There was some Arohi drama today and the scene where she is connecting the dots was soo damn long! Like she kept looking at the guy in disbelief. Then Ak startled her and she made excuses cause she doesn't want to spoil the wedding basically. Arohi has come full circle from wanting to spoil Abhira shadi, to not wanting to spoil even when there is a real issue.

You know the guy playing Mamaji, my sister saw the episode today and she is like this guy always playing a perv in shows 🙃

I hope aaru takes a stand for herself even when mama ji and the other guests blame her.

Ughhh not another forced rishta. Let her find someone and fall in love organically and have her happy ending. Anyway she is a white washed saint now.

First nice scene was when Abhi comes to console Ak when she's crying remembering Naira while looking at her old dupatta......this scene felt like what they ripped apart using a Sirat reference is now being repaired via a Naira reference

On WD, Abhi had made that callous remark about blaming Ak for Sirat's death.....he had apologized for it later but today felt like it finally took Naira to give Abhira some level of closure over their parental losses. Really liked how Abhi talked to her about how her parents are always alive inside her since she is their ansh....and the way he helped fold that dupatta - also kind of symbolizing a gathering together of what was once scattered....bit by bit in every scene they are driving home the fact that Abhi now helps put things back together rather than scattering them like he did in impulse once.

Liked his lines about how maybe him and Ak want to give Abhir that childhood and love of both parents that they themselves never got - even though Abhi had his parents with him but still didn't feel like a wholesome childhood.....and also liked the line about how we have to make the most of our present and maybe just leave it on Mahadev having some plan that we may not be aware of.....lol

Loved your WU! The Naira convo was done pretty well. I feel like they are going back toward real parents and their impact even if they didn't raise you. Like Ak feeling so lost over being unable to connect to Naira, doesn't she have the least idea that Abhir might have felt the same way had he lost his chance to connect with Abhi? Par chodo, it seemed more of a scene to show Abhira connecting over thier broken childhoods. Abhi saying I don't know which parent I am more like, but I wanted to be like neither one of them.....I really wanted Ak to say that you are like both of them in some ways and in a lot of ways you are better (again, I know, high expectations).

I like the idea of this coming full circle from him blaming her for seerat and now connecting over naira. For Abhira the connection has always been with Naira-Kartik.

@ Bold: Honestly if they do this all over again, if they kill off little kids parents all over again it will just be horrible. They are showing the trauma of not having parents here and how much that impacted Ak. I hope just for the sake of variety they leave one of their parents alive. They could change the actors and stuff, but it makes no sense to make the kids orphans again to be raised by Manjari.

Even this scene I couldn't help but draw comparisons to cuz last sangeet was a competition and Abhira were competing against each other....this time they are working together as a team. This practice session did help in loosening up everyone to try to create a more upbeat shaadi ka maahaul....maybe the read the complaints about people saying this wedding seems dull

Beautiful update Anu. Loved your explanation on the symbolism of the dupatta folding and how you have drawn comparison between their 1st sangeet and this one. Abhira and Gorillas now look like a unit.

I do wonder why are they wasting so much on Muski's costume's when all she does is stand at the back and give the same expression. She had an angry expression even when mimi handed over Naira's dupatta. Did she think she should've got it. Glad no one including Akshu and KV are paying her any attention at all and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

I think at this point it seemed to come out of nowhere that's why I used the term forced. Like suddenly she was given Naira's wedding chunni today?? What happened during the last wedding, why not give it then. It just feels a little disjointed is all.

I am not saying Abhira didn't have the convos, but before it was never this direct. The one time it was direct they were both drunk. After that it was more of an understanding from each part. Ak knew Abhi's past cause it was out in the open how much he hated sir and everything. Abhi got to know Ak's past from Kairav.

This type of direct conversation where they talk about their childhood trauma is more of a this leap thing. Like Abhi never expressed how he wanted a perfect family because his parent's relationship was so bad. Ak also never mentioned that she wanted a perfect family cause she didn't grow up with one. For both of them talking about their childhood and recognizing where and how their trauma comes is happening more in this leap. Likely cause now they can connect to it as parents and talk about how they don't want Abhir to go through the same.

This always gets to me because it’s reality. I know adopted kids and orphans in reality -yes they are grateful for the love their adopted parents and foster parents give however they are always curious about bio parents, and this curiosity never ends until they finally know about them or meet them.

This is where makers even messed up. They always showed how Akshara always was grateful for Sirat raising her and giving mothers love but Akshara always craved to have her own mother in her life.

So like how come this same person willingly made sure that her son didnt know his actual dad for 6 years. And all Akshara cared about once finding out she was pregnant is that her Abhi is going to become a Papa. So makes her seem even more heartless with her changing fathers for Abhir.

Anyway that’s over and done with
