It took a while to sink in the last 5 minutes of the episode we had today , Maya despite whatever happened with her , is her doings , but she can’t do that to 8-9 year old kid in the name of ego or hurt mother I would say rather . She has a disliking for single mother just because she has a bad experience . More need to explored on her part why that happened .

But coming Aarav intimidation , that was uncalled for . She has same issue which Viaan used to have for women , except here Maya has for . Sorry not Maya , I will also call her Mrs Singhania , has for single mothers .

Now most important part , don’t think leap will happen . Though it’s not completely out of picture , but it can happen . But it should not , why I tell you , this show and story is about the KaViaan relationship and how they navigate around all the obstacles around . This does not mean going away from facing the situations by showing the leap but don’t know how the makers proceed . It might be painful but leap is not the way here . There is lot more to the story . If Teji is being shown to be progressing towards positivity , there must have to a reason for that .

Don’t know and not sure makers will play with Aarav eventually knowing the ONS truth in a subtle way . Yes in OG , child was 5 yr old . Here 9 yr old , gives an indication it might happen , in case of leap , but that happens only if no story left . But this show will lose context and meaning if leap happens . May be makers try to justify it that it was necessary and show will extend . But let’s see.

Aarvs hysterical moment also illogical today, he is shown strong, I even didn't understand what he was saying. And Katha immediately broke up I think, she didn't even think of Viaans health. I understand kid should be 1st priority but you don't leave your partner on that state when he can't even walk.

Aarav doesn't need to know, most of kid doesn't know parents past history. What makers doing is totally nonsense as they don't have story. Writer just can't write the damn story, they could spend at least 50 episode on how both settle on physical proximity rather than this nonsense. They shouldn't have shown physical proximity that easily without any hesitation.

Are they going to redeem her?

I support Katha's decision especially after watching the yesterday's episode. So, for Katha to have a secure life for her son Aarav, she must get rid of Teji and Maya. Maya can be removed but, what about Teji? If Teji is removed, she will be hailed as a homewrecker again. The reasoning Maya gave for not accepting Katha was nothing but, her ego and sadism.

As Katha said, marriage is also between two families. Maybe it won't be true for the western households, it is still present in Indian households. It is not something to be ashamed of it is the culture of India. Here, thing is not that Maya and Teji don't see Katha as a suitable for Viaan. Its just that their ego is blinding them. I will especially won't want Aarav to go near such egoistic psychos at any cost. Even though, it will be heartbreaking to leave Viaan.

If so many people can't handle a kid and keep away from Maya and Teji, then doob maroo, famous non spine wala FL don't deserve love.

I know how to grow up among enemies, been there, couldn't even see face, bath toh duurr ki bathh. Don't tell me Maya can come and tell anytime. It's not that easy for Viaan Ragubangsshi the Richy rich guys son.

Most illogical and harsh break up ...bechara just opened his eyes.

Viaan needs to leave Katha alone, she doesn't care.

Let's leave the storyline for a bit,

Acting, direction, camera angle and music are such a selling points for this show that it really feels to be in moment. Like seriously, I should have been accoustomed by now for their brilliant acting after watching so many episodes. But, whenever these characters act, It still feels new and refreshing to see them watch act out their roles. Viaan and Katha's separation was heartbreaking to see it unfold. I knew about Adnan Khan from his previous show Ishq Subhan Allah where he preched some religious texts which went over my head but, I did listen to him and all his facial expressions. These guys are simply brilliant.

In every intimate scene, there is perfect balance of camera focus, music and acting. Music is not too loud or distracting it is usually light strings. The screen space during acting sequences focus only on actor while every other thing feels visibly invisible. Also, music makes you feel the tension of the moment.

Also, I like they are now experimenting with their scores. Need to wait for full episode to air to see the part where they made a substitution of note in background score by overlaying piano. It made the score positively painful. The original score is in minor harmonic key but, the piano was in some other key which created such conflicting emotions.

The score played in the background here is new when Ehsan was summarizing their journey how they overcame the hatred. The piano overlay is new. Never heard it before. They could have played just the painful OG theme but, they decided to add an extra piano overlay which adds a hope for positivity. Also, beginning piano notes are inherited from the positive theme of the show which was played on many occassions.

Also, the use of silence in this show where background noise takes over creates a whole different dynamic.

Then, there are some small throwbacks. Katha saying "Sab Theek Hai" reminded me when Aarav was found after being lost. She said same thing to Aarav. And, Aarav bringing Sumit's name again in the conversation of separation. Things like these keep you within the fictional world build by the show.

These elements were absent for a lot of episodes and now, they are back.

No sane mother can take risk of going to live in R mansion with a small child where a psycho lady like Maya and equally evil Teji lives. if they can risk Viaan's life to break the marriage, they can get Aarav even killed. we should not forget it is story of a single mother on the first place. And I don't think ONS reveal also Aarav can understand what is ONS. he is just 9 years. In India kids of that age are not aware of that.if they have to go ahead with story and no leap, teji has to put her efforts to heal what has been broken by her and Maya. and Maya is not even redeemable. she has to be kicked out or put in jail

100% agree. Katha has taken a right decision. Aarav is not at all safe there. Hope Viaan also understands this. When they can plot so much against their own son God knows what they will do to Aarav. But watching Aarav cry yesterday was so touching. Poor boy.
