It's of course Anushka's decision but it's just a tad unfair, is all.

Anushka was not as popular as people make her out to be. She has been part of big movies but not as much of a following on her own.

But I’ve seen some intvs of hers from very beginning of her career and seems like she’s someone who always wanted to settle down after having kids. Also I I’ve always felt she had treated her BW career like a 9-5 job. I’ve rarely seen her making friends or being part of groups or parties with her colleagues. Which is not a bad thing actually. So I feel not just that her popularity/time was up she herself distanced herself from the industry.

And there was a news/rumor that virat been asking the companies reaching out for him for ads to take them both as part of some deal. And it has materialized too a couple of times. Which I find kinda amusing esp keeping in mind anushkas hoity toity attitude.

So not like she has any less opportunities to keep making money from other avenues.

Basically I don’t think Anushka faded away, she would have still gotten few more films with big names but she herself seems to want a more chill time with her family

I also think the rumors of her pregnancy might be true, she seems to have removed her cheek and lip fillers. Such injectables are not recommended in pregnancy at all

Yes, a cricketer and actress' careers have a similar trajectory. They can start at a very young and usually reach saturation by 35-36. Which is why it is a shame she shaved off 8 years out of these precious years for raising a family, whereas Virat could continue to pursue his dreams.

Also Virat and Anushka are not in the same boat career wise..he rules the cricket world but anushka was already on a decline since 2017..it is not like she was a deepika/katrina/priyanka or even kareena..her brand was falling and in 2018 she gave flops esp zero earned her bad reviews too..so may be she herself got disheartened and decided to focus on other things..she seems content in where she is right now so kudos and congratulations to her

Also a baby does not in anyway mean sacrifising your career..this is 2023..kareena..alia..priyanka..we have so many top actresses who have balanced both beautifully..so may be it is by choice

Was anyone dying to watch her on-screen? No one was. If career means to keep earning money, she has been earning from influencership, in every tacky way possible, using the husband's contacts or riding on his coattail.

Congratulations to them.

Even before marrying Virat she had done very selective movies and had been focusing on her production house.

It's her choice if she wants to prioritise motherhood over other things. Both acting and sports r demanding careers where u spend a lot of time away from home..means both absentee parents..Virat is a national player and far more successful n popular. Makes sense for him to continue 🙂

I think balancing is a bit easy when both r actors coz they can pick n choose projects. But how do u pick or delay international tournaments?

Someone predicted this in another thread during the recent IPL.

She hardly hard the drive to do acting. Her production house is doing great (sans her too)

Her influencer career is smooth.

Lucky she got what she wanted. A partner who provides so she can be a homemaker and influencer, which she already is.
