The confrontation scene was exceptional. The background music was very nice. Both Sai and Addy acted well in that scene.

I think the only issue Agastya will have as a point of conflict with imlie is her lies. He will keep misunderstanding her as an opportunist poor person which will take some time to get cleared.

They said kal for the precap so I'm not sure if we are getting the episode or not. I hope not as I'd like a day free. I'm going to be busy this weekend.

Lol I wanna be honest here I don't care about story or anything I just wanna see sai on screen with strong character and screen presence... Sai se nazar hate toh kisi aur pe focus karu.. Whenever someone else pop up on screen I be like Cameraman jaldi Sai (ASC) pe focus Karo😂😍🐢🔥

You do know if the focus is all on ASC, Sai will get super tired and be on set all the time. I'm in my head like, can they also show other characters so Sai can go home and not be so overworked. He looked so tired in those restuarant pics man.

Waise saw sai reel in morning boy looking fine and of course videographer did fab job capturing that charming smile of his😍🧿

The more I see him with this og look of his ..more I hate that weird wig😭

They can telecast show Mon to Fri at least team will get some time for themselves.. Especially leads.. Waise I heard Reality show Dance+ is coming with new season and it will air on weekend so may be all these shows will air 5 days in week..

Yes totally SP needs a weekend lineup so that the actors aren't overworked. I love how Sai makes time to also do other things like hipi etc. Ofcourse the reel I saw was so good. He's such a cutie man. The photographer is improving day by day hahah. The reel was too good.

@bold:- OMG - This twist was so unexpected. I never expected that Agastya ki mom was a bar singer. I guess the father might have been unhappy with his married life and fell in love with the bar singer and they had Agastya. I am guessing the mother died or whatever and then Agastya was bought by the family. There are quite good childhood memories of Agastya with the elder brother and the grandmother so I am guessing he grew up with the family and that might have happened only if his upbringing was in the mansion along with the family. Even Chachi was saying that since he was 5 years old he used to do his work all alone. So maybe the mother of Agastya died and that is why Agastya was with the family.

The wife and mother of Sonali could obviously not forget this betrayal and Agastya has always served as a reminder of her husband's infidelity. But the main question is - Does Agatsya know that his mother too was a bar singer. I am guessing no. Given how Dadi is so against singing, I feel they have hidden this truth from Agastya. All Agastya knows that he is illegitimate and his birth mother might have died after his birth.

Yup this show is so very unpredictable. I did not expect this twist at all. Can't wait to see how things unfold and how Agastya ends up marrying Imlie and not Nyonika. Both Sai and Addy are nailing down the scenes.

No I think SP would go back to 6 day telecast which they had earlier. It is given that in ITV industry if the shows are telecast only 5 days then the trps are going to be less like Sony TV ke shows. SP made this 7 day telecast only to rein in the audience so I am positive they are going to have 6 days telecast with the reality shows coming only on the Sunday.

Either way it is going to be good for the actors to have a day off and not be worried of telecast every single day. I sometimes feel bad for the TV actors. They have to churn content equivalent to a small movie every single week. They don't have so much time to do everything - conceive, conceptualize, direct and edit. They are always under constant pressure to deliver.

That is why I am not extra critical of looking for logic in a normal Hindi show. As long as they can show a good story with some good characteristics I am a happy camper which is what Imlie Gen3 is serving. I have a female lead who does not want to lie but is caught in web of lies and a male lead who has his own prejudice against poor people due to his past experiences. Yet they are destined for each other and will eventually stand by each other. Ab iss main why they did this and why did that - I am not going to dissect every single dialogue, every single scene as I am looking at the bigger picture - that of how 2 seemingly impossible people fall in love and understand, heal and comfort each other.

Sometimes it's easier to let the smaller things slide you now. Waise bhi I watch the show for time pass. I'm enjoying the show, Sai is there in it. Mereko bas usse hi matlab hai. Plus you see the constant twists they bring about. It's funny that the show is titled Imlie but there's so much back story and layering to Agastya ka character.

Also, didn't his step mom say Agastya purposely got a bar singer to the engagement to hurt her? So this implies he knows? But he doesn't seem too unhappy about his parents ka affair and blames the step mom for it. Super complicated hai yaar inke dynamics.

Today's episode was so good. The team hit it out of the ball park. I had a little doubt on how they are going to show Imlie donning the singer dress in the party and I was worried maybe it would be a logic ka funda but nope the creative team really outdid themselves.

Bechari Imlie she was thinking of telling the truth for so long but she never got the chance to do it. Remember - a stitch in time saves nine more. She should have told the truth to Agastya and her majboori when she had a chance. She could have told him when they got the investors appreciating her food. Agastya was happy and if Imlie had accepted that she lied because her nephew was sick and she wanted this job very much, I feel Agastya would have helped her out. He was a fair person. Imlie lost the golden opportunity to tell the truth herself.

Agastya - he feels cheated and lied too and he can't stand that. I feel part of his anger is because Imlie very conveniently made fool of him and his ego and his prejudice against poor people can not accept it. I like that now he knows that the girl whose voice was mesmerizing to him in the beginning that he sat down to listen to her song was none other than Imlie. Yup and Imlie too knows that Agastya was the one who threw money on her and insulted her the very first time.

And kudos to the logical and creative team. The Johari seth being the kind hearted man that he is, allowed Imlie to sing for the function as he knows that she is a good singer. I liked the logic that Agastya infact made the singer not come as he was damn sure that Imlie would come out in her original bar singer avatar once the singer does not come. Agastya is shrewd that way and as he predicted Imlie was there to sing for the function.

A few other things I totally loved were - Mami and Bulbul commenting that they are taking the dulhan away when it was actually Imlie who was going down the stairs. So yes Mami's word is going to be true and it would be Imlie who would become the dulhan and not Nyonika.

And then the scene where Imlie draws the dupatta on herself to make a ghoongat - Kudos to the cinematography. It is like this is the last time she is going to hide herself under the veil and it is very symbolic that she herself removes the dupatta in presence of Agastya. Maybe indicating that with Agastya she doesn't need to hide herself.

Gul's team is very good at drawing parallels in their stories and I would absolutely love to see Agastya himself encouraging Imlie to give a stage performance and proudly decking his wife up and getting her to the stage if the show survives till that time.

@bold:- NO I re-watched the episode again and the step mom says that why they have to get a singer here. I am assuming they means Johari family. And the reason why the step mom was blaming Agastya was because this was supposed to be Agastya's engagement function and she was angry that the Johari family got a bar singer in this engagement. A bar singer snatched her husband from her and tempted him enough according to her to betray her and Agastya is a living reminder of that betrayal.

I feel Agastya got the love of music from his mother but I really don't think he knows that his mother was a bar singer. There's just too much khichdi at this point in time. Why is there a need to have the following additional tracks:

1. Agastya ki mom being a bar singer (why can't he be just accepting of the fact that imlie did what she did coz she wanted to save Ashu). Shouldn't that be reason enough to justify Imlie ke choices and remove his prejudice against the poor.

2. Their childhood connection (iska toh reason he samaj nai aata. It seems like bahut plots ko use kara hai yahan)

3. The need for their siblings to be in love and married and Ashu being the nephew of Agastya. I mean why was this relevant. Agastya ka brother dying and making him hate the opportunistic poor would have been ok as a plot point and imlie with her dead sister ka child.

4. The creep jeeja and Imlie track - again this is extra khichdi which may not actually be relevant coz they have many plots/ sub plots open already.

5. Agastya ka love for music and how it's a trait he got from his mom.
