Honestly, I don't think that the trp audience really cares about Navra or Abhira, it's only the online audience who are crazy behind intense love stories and leads Tashan and all, most of the TRP contributors watch it for drama, storyline tracks and family equations.

I don't think 40-50 year old women are honestly interested in watching teenage romance,unless it's something like Anuj and Anupama, whose age audience can relate to and had some subtle romance.

So if DPK thought that reuniting Abhira was the only way to go ahead and focus on the storyline then they have it wrong. Online hype for lead pairs is not the same as bringing in TRPs from homes.

RS himself said online fans don’t bring them TRP so he obviously didn’t bring back Abhira for online fans.
Abhira fans once they saw Akshara fully moved on, they stated Abhi should be exited peacefully since Akshara is the legacy child and this is her journey.
But then makers killed Abhinav and said it’s Abhira’s journey- so then Abhira fans were happy and said the story should have a good track such as a leap of 1-2 years after Abhinav’s death and they can show them slowly fall back in love. They could have still used Abhir wanting his parents to together after the leap- like he didn’t like that he had to back and forth between his parents houses and wants them as one of family- it’s been a year or two of Abhinav’s death - enough time to show that Akshara is moving on.
No but makers rushed to Abhira reunion, have a pregnancy promo going on.
I’m sure TRP contributors who you stated are 40/50 women, aren’t happy with Akshara moving on fast. Abhira fans aren’t happy with rushed reunion, marriage for son, depressed Abhi, and pregnancy promo.

Akshara fans aren’t happy with the way they degrading Akshara between two men and different fathers to different kids

Agree with every bit you say. The story writing and execution both are boring and problematic. They need to fix the plot.

Agreed..a year or two leap would be great..there r hundreds of ideas to execute it well & kick start abhira again..akshara in depression after abhinav death , abhim takes care of abhir for 2 yrs , them slowly falling in love again , aksharas memory loss etc etc I need not tell them, they have done it 4 times during kaira . Rushed marriage and rushed reunion given their past is puke inducing . I don't understand muskans motivations to act crazy either.

All I’m saying is if cameo was saving the show, why would they show his exit? Pretty sure makers get TRP before audience does- so they would know what works and what doesn’t. Harshad from start of show made it clear his contract is 2 years, he didn’t renew it seems since so much news came out even before generation leap- that Harshad was leaving the show.

@bold See there's something called as miscalculation as well. It's no big deal since the same PH made one in gen 2 too. The track was disliked, criticized to the core and the half baked premise of 3rd gen was a result of it

Although I'm more surprised that they repeated the exact mistake in gen 3. Guess they were banking too much on the hoopla of a couple winning baseless polls or the trp audience thinking the same as online janta... but thankfully this time they might learn their lesson

@bold After seeing dkp's creativity yep it's hard to understand their reasoning 😅

But imo after the narrative that was shown for mts, removing Abhinav's mention like nothing, that too without taking a leap, wouldn't work.

Tho, from what I gathered on SM, makers did try doing this after showing few episodes of Ak Abhir mourning. They started with football, celebrating random festival, Manju new trauma, music therapist AGBS, romancing, hugging n all.. to the pt it felt illogical n horrible.

Abhinav wasn't remembered much except when trps crashed st. for 2 wks... After that Ak's pativrata dilemma restarted... and pregnancy promo came last wk...

What have they achieved with all this ihdk.. but makers should've thot about this when they were busy basking in fd wars... Now the already pathetic gen is so all over the place that except generational leap (if dkp gets a green flag) nothing can save this!

because now its not about what audience want ,its about their ego for not wanting their favourite ,so degrade the storyv,so much ,so when giving abhira ,they dont get trp and put the blamevon leads
