They were always popular, I feel a lot of actors /actresses are Sindhi or Punjabi, lot of creatives too. Bachpan se dekhe too many shows set in Punjab (Punjab , Gujarat or Maharashtra, West Bengal at times)

Let me share a funny thing. One of my colleagues who is a different city was chatting with me one day. We had gotten introduced for the first time (virtually and not in person). He was a little funny and odd and he was a Punjabi. My original name (will not divulge here) matches with an actress in Bollywood. That guy said "Oh you are this this actress. I like this actress so much". There are so many Benagli actresses in Bolly previously and most heroes are from Punjab (he wanted to imply he was the hero). I just could not hold back laugh. It is true that most heroes in Bolly are from Punjab and the most Bolly songs have Punjabi dialects.

So Punjab rules in the media. EKta Kapoor though brought in the Gujrati and Marathi families to the household TV (I mean in hindi serials).

Failed to watch yesterday as it was late and fall sleep. Just saw. It was action packed episode. Enjoyable except manber and seerat crapp fest backwash.

seerat has motive to snatch angad but why manber is so ville and nasty. Samajh nehi ata.

She is officially character less notorious woman. She is indeed a character less person and her no reason hatred is so much for Shaiba that she is pushing another character less woman towards her still married son. Jo dimag se .....no idea what. When his tube light will be on. Yes more unacceptable scene with rat 🐀 is coming......let's see how long it will be bearable.

Haan nearly every famous family in Bollywood other than Khans have Punjabi ancestry, Deols, Bachhan, Roshans, Yash Chopra /Adi Chopra, Priyanka Chopra and goes on.

If not Punjabi then Sindhi like Kapoor family, Ranveer Singh.

Then there is Tanujas family tree from West Bengal, Kajol and Rani.

But Punjab dominates most hindi media in India. There is an indelible mark, every other song has a reference to Punjabi folklore like Heer Ranjha or Mirza Sahiba.

I actually did not understand the sequence with the locket during the fight sequence. Could someone be kind enough to explain. Angad got hurt in the left side of chest already. And after that the locket was shown and then Rumi was hurt and he ran away. Could not follow the plot well.

And Punjabis are very jolly fun loving culture.In the West , the Indian dance moves that the Westerners know is invariably "Bhangra". But considering all this, it is a shame why this PH does not show more fun filled naach gaana atleast the festivals can be shown. Here they keep busy just taunting each other. And idiot Veer has also become useless these days. His musician characterization is not adding any value.
