Currently there is too much in yuvika's plate to think about anybody romantically. In fact, I never find her "in love" with kartik. Vo to Jab break up nazdik aaya karvika ka, tab bada yuvika ko kartik par bharosa dikhaane lage.

With Neil, yuvika is herself. Neil have a positive impact on her by encouraging her, making her understand others POV, making her laugh in stressful situation, saving her from danger, and obviously helping her.

She feels a connection with him bas vo connection feeling me change hona and realisation baaki hai.

That's why I want yuvika to carry out the investigation alone for a while which make her miss Neil even more.

Even I don't think Yuvika ever loved Kartik. She was just in love with the idea of being in love with Kartik. About Neil, I agree she is herself around Neil, she has connection & attachment towards Neil but you know what when they first bumped into each other in DELHI, BOTH of them had that already existing interest in each other & Yuvika had it more than Neil. That's what I saw in their eyes. That's why I feel there is more to their Rishikesh trekking trip.
