I don't think he will propose the contract marriage out of revenge. Let's see, I don't want to jump any guns because the show is taking a different direction.

I'm liking the fact that the makers aren't toying with his character and making him full blown grey yet.

Agastya didn't put a false case on Imlie and get her arrested. He helped the police by sharing her whereabouts coz the police were searching for her and had a charge against her. He had no reasons to believe in her innocence when she was specifically lying to him about being rich. When the police said she was caught trying to fleece a rich man, the most natural reaction would be to trust the police instead of someone who has lied to you. He wasn't being vengeful here, I would rather say that he was being a good citizen.

I'm glad Agastya agreed to marry the real Nyonika. He wasn't in love with Imlie. He agreed to an alliance with Nyonika who his family had chosen. It's not like he's rejecting the love of imlie who is poor for Nyonika who is rich. What's the problem in agreeing for an arranged marriage to someone who meets your social status and class. Puri duniya karti aayi hai from donkey's years.

Also, the fact that he has a bias against the poor makes it his flaw. This is his prejudice arising out of his circumstances. Isn't this exactly what Will Darcy felt? He loved Lizzy but always felt her to be of an inferior status. The makers are exactly copying the main theme of P&P with an added element of a proper reasoning for his prejudice.

Like I previously said, if Agastya was a saint/ perfect, we would not have this show.

Today Agastya clarified that he dislikes Imlie not due to her poverty but due to her being without principles.

I loved the conversation between gattu and Chachi. I loved how she said that Agastya would be honest in his marriage. I know when he will marry Imlie even though it's a contract marriage, he will fulfill his marital obligations.

I'm waiting for Agastya to give back to that mami man. I can't take her at all. I would love to see how Agastya will teach her a lesson for all the pain imlie and Ashu went through.

Also, I can see why Agastya will cancel the wedding with Nyonika. She's a puppet of Sonali due to her secret.

There are so many layers to Agastya man. I'm so happy that the writers put a lot of thought in him.

PS: When Agastya was in the shower, all that while, I was hoping ki glue nikal jaye aur wig gir jaye... LMAO.

Just want to point out the hypocrisy here. The way Agastya would look down upon an opportunistic poor, Imlie looked down on the bar dancers/ prostitutes.

She wasn't happy being referred to as such by the police or Mami or the other girls in prison. I mean why should anyone look down upon any profession. Those girls are also majboor and doing their best to put food on the plate for themselves and their families. In all of this the men who proposition such girls like the jeeja aren't blamed or questioned.

While Agastya is coming from a place of privilege where he would not be able to understand the circumstances of why imlie chose to be a bar singer, imlie doesn't understand the circumstances of why those girls chose their profession either.

So y'all think Agastya will be against Imlie due to her profession or due to the lies/ being an opportunist poor?.

Well its good that ASC don't hate or against imlie cause she belongs to a poor family but he is upset cause she lied all the time though she has her own reasons for that but Auggy doesn't know all these so obviously he will believe she is gold digger and as Ren Pointed out he helped police cause he really believed what police said about her as he just got to know the truth how she had lied to get the job and all so yes he is a man with principal and he won't hesitate to even punish his own person if the person is at wrong. Liking the character graph of ASC hopefully CV's will maintain this and keep adding more layers to this character as we know sai will surely do justice to every shade of ASC.

As Ren pointed out he surely gonna fulfill his Martial duties though its contract marriage lol sorry but it happens in every show leads does marriage out of hate or majboori or for revenge etc but as soon as marriage happens they forget the reason and the process of falling in love starts so here too will be the same case of course with there own different story

All the villain will get there does from ASC one after one as abhi toh picture baki hai bhai hero apne sare kartavya nibhayega 🙌🏻

@Ren- I think he will against her only cause of misunderstandings he have about her like her lies mainly.. But it will only till he knows the real reason and of course fall in love with her..

BTW seems full on promotions going on saw whole cast doing photo session .. Seen photos of sai with different most of cast ppl .. Off screen pics ... Seems PH have told them to promote off screen as well. All looking good sai as usual looking damn handsome just cut the wig😂❤

Lol Even if one wants to drool over sai during shower scene still that wig is obstacle in the view😂 Ren if the Wig is worth 40.000 then the glue also must be expensive and good quality which won't go even if its comes in contact with water😂

I liked the way the characters and the scenes are interlinked in the episode today.

Agastya was coming to terms with the betrayal he got from the hands of Imlie and Chachi telling him to marry only if he wants it and not as a compromise. I love Agastya and Chachi ka bonding. I feel Chachi might be the first one to warm up to Imlie. I think Chachi being childless loves Agastya as her own son. Can't wait to see more of Agastya and Chachi, Agastya and Dadi ke scenes.

Imlie going through the shocking episode of being locked up in the jail and then coming to terms with the indifferent attitude of Mami - loved the scene where Imlie keeps on pouring buckets of water to cleanse herself of the feeling of being held in the jail. Imma and her Ashu scene was really good.

Sonali is too blinded in hatred. I think at this point she is only concerned about how to harm Agastya. Only when Agastya will expose the fraud of the husband and stand by Sonali, then she will realize that Agastya is more than a brother to her.

And lastly Agastya and Jugs - I love the fact that Jugs is the sounding board for Agastya. Jugs wants Imlie to be given to police as she cheated his bhaiyyaji but Agastya thinks that Imlie deserves punishment from him because she cheated and fooled him.

I think Nyonika's abortion truth would be out before the engagement and that would may be break the marriage and Dadi might throw the condition of 10 days marriage and that would lead to Agastya proposing contract marriage to Imlie. I guess Imlie would also agree as she will get money for Ashu's treatment. The story and characters have all settled in and I am hoping the trps are higher for last week.

Someone should do burn that damn wig. Sai is getting so many intense sequences to perform but that wig is making it intolerable to fully drool over his looks

I think Agastya will be against imlie due to her lies. For a second Agastya would have understood her majburi about being bar singer if she had told him in starting but ab misunderstandings bahut badh gayi hai. Her demanding money in today episode further amplified his thought process of her being gold digger

I feel like Sonali is the only person among villains who can have redemption arc. She hates Agasthya only due to the fact that dadi prefers him over her just because he is boy despite being him illegitimate. The day Agasthya will prove his caring side towards her she will start melting. Unlike her mother who hates him because his mother snatched her husband, Sonali hasn't shown that much dislike for him for being illegitimate. But yes she is destroying Agasthya life by setting him with Nyonika

bold: Don't know kya hone wala hai. Imlie ,her Mami and cousin were also present at the engagement shoot most likely to be waitresses. After that Imlie was also decked up in her bar singer lehenga and jewellery. I hope Agasthya doesn't insult Imlie in the engagement party for her profession
